The computer interface is used for the software setup of Phoenix series inverters and MultiPlus and Quattro series inverter/chargers. All these devices have factory default settings. To change the default settings, this interface is used. Parameters such as voltage values for load disconnection and reconnection, charging voltage character, grid connection character depending on battery voltage or draw, and much more can be changed. On one side there is a socket for connecting a mini-USB cable to connect to a computer, on the other side there is a socket for connecting an RJ45 UTP cable to connect to the device being set up (not included). This is an optional device that is not absolutely necessary for the operation of the devices being set up.
