Awful bed.Delivery was problomatic. Maybe as itbwas over christmas period. Saying that, I bought it as it promised to be delivered before xmas and we ended up putting it up on boxing day as it came so late.Wood is cheap and flimsy. Parts poorly cut and not fitting together.Black paint had chipped and fadedTook far too long to put together. Instructions were for a different style bed. Once put up it seems ok. My 12 year old daughter likes it. Think it would break if it was being regular used by an adult

Bed Unreasonably Challenging to build

I wish I could review the B&Q bed for its comfort, but I haven’t even had a chance to sleep on it yet because I’m still trying to build it. The problem is not with my ability to assemble the furniture; the problem is with the poor design of the barrel nuts and screws, which make the bed unreasonably challenging to put together properly.The barrel nuts don’t align with the holes they’re supposed to fit into, making it overly challenging to connect the screws. On the rare occasion you get a screw to bite, it’s extremely difficult to tighten, to the point that it strips the screw, leaving it stuck in place. Then, you have to undo the screw just to replace it. Ok, but would not buy again

The bed itself - once assembled - looks ok. Otherwise it is very finicky, the slats are impossible to screw to the bed. It took hours to assemble. We had screws missing, luckily we had some at home. I would return it but don't want to spend hours to dismantle.

horrible quality

Very cheap quality and appalled at the way it was made. So many of the same pieces were cut shockingly and all fitted very differently despite being the same size in the instruction booklet. Got half way through building it when we got to the headboard and oh my god... some of the holes were drilled just millimetres off which meant we couldn't fit the bed together and even make the frame. Quite shocked at how badly this was made. We couldn't even get to the finished product because it was literally impossible wit fit the wood together. This product needs to be paid more attention to during production.
