I purchased the Viewsonic TD2455 24" touch monitor in order to upgrade from an older Viewsonic 22" touch monitor. The additional features provided by the TD2455 were beyond my expectations. I use the monitor with a laptop and a docking station in order to see a bigger display. Decent monitor, haven't yet been able to get the touchscreen capability working. It appears that the main HDMI video cable doesn't make this work; it seems to need an additional connection to the PC using a USB cable, which I have not tried yet. There is no documentation that I found that explains this, and the online PDF manual from Viewsonic doesn't seem to explain the details of how to install/setup the monitor, which is disappointing. I even searched YouTube for a setup video, and all I found were advertising videos.

I needed a new monitor for my home office because the old one broke. Can't believe how far technology has come since my last one. Love the USB C connection because I can charge my laptop from my monitor making my office less cluttered. I also like the touch function because I have a touch laptop and it's a more seamless experience now. It's also more ergonomic than my old monitor which I welcome since I'm having some back issues. Overall just a great monitor.

Headline says it all. I use this with a Lenovo ThinkStation P340 Tiny PC, and it works beautifully. The response of the touchscreen is on par with a notebook or all-in-one with native touch. Love the port selection: USB-C, DisplayPort, and HDMI. Very adaptable stand. A plus for me: I added the VESA II bracket for the P340 Tiny on the back of the monitor stand with Scotch Commando fasteners (16 lb type) and it worked great. Love this monitor!
I bought this for a QNAP TVS-672N NAS which has a HDMI output in hopes that I'd get touch screen functionality out of the NAS, small hopes of course. Replacing a same size IPS LED I wasn't expecting improvements in the picture and can't say that there is however the touch screen worked right out of the box. Plugged in the HDMI and USB and it was functioning perfectly, no installation, drivers, anything. I tried it with the USB C output of the NAS with no luck, data and power only, not a ViewSonic issue. I did plug in my mini PC with USB C and without any additional work the touch screen works through that as well. 1 PC and 1 NAS both have touchscreen functionality. But wait, my mini firewall pc has a Display Port out, plugged that in and done. Great IPS LED picture and 3 computers attached with 2 of them getting touch screen functionality. Now the real toe tickler is the stand. I am putting this on a shelf with 13" height clearance and the stand lowers the screen all the way to the base of the stand and the whole thing slides right into my 12" deep shelf. The base is heavy enough to support the screen in this position securely on the shelf.
I would not have bought this monitor had I known that it won't work in multi-monitor setups. That is the point! Teaching via Zoom I can have one screen for monitoring chat etc. and the other with the presentation with the hope that I could scribble or draw on the slides. Alas, that was not to be. It only works solo. Sort of like my first spouse.
The Good: The image is very sharp. Buttons to turn on/control are on front of monitor and NOT underneath, so easy to find/push. Touch works very well and is intuitive. The angle and position can be adjusted easily with the heavy duty stand. Note to whomever had this unit and returned it to Home Essentials Direct (without the manual) - I'm sure you forgot to plug in the USB-B connector which actually allows the touchscreen features. So you need 3 cords in the back (minimum) - power, a video (HDMI/etc.), and the USB-B to make the screen work like a mouse. This necessary cable was still fully wrapped up so I know the prior person returned this as "not working." It works great! Even with as heavy and sturdy as the stand is, the amount of force required for the stylus to do anything more than single taps causes the monitor to shift unless it is tilted all the way down to the desk. This monitor is fine tuned for finger touch. I would love for this to be more responsive to its included stylus, as I was hoping to use this for math tutoring.
WoW....This ViewSonic 24" Touch Screen Monitor is the best !! My kids play games on it (every game you can think of). They are having fun learning to play the piano with the full keyboard available on this touch screen monitor, it's incredible..... you can use it with all of your Microsoft Windows PC programs, or all the ChromeBook Android apps...... watch Netflix movies, play ROBLOX, MineCraft, watch MyLittlePony videos.... and it goes on and on and on. These touch screen monitors are so good, I made sure to buy a 2nd one while they are in still stock. Through out all the growing up years of my kids, I have bought 3 touch screen monitors..... You won't be disappointed. Your kids, or yourself, are gonna have a blast using this touch screen monitor.
I bought 2 of these monitors. The second because I liked the first so much. One lasted about 3 months (Which had minimal touchscreen use) The second I got 8 months out of. The first just started getting lines and wackadoodle. The second the dispay port broke, and since its integrated I cannot replace. Im shopping for an entirely new company. Im giving 3 stars because overall, they have a great antiglare, good color and response for touch.
