This has been the best mop of my life, and I'm 51! Easy to use, cleans quickly, and I have a wetroom. After the shower it absorbs the water off of the floors. Vileda always makes items that last, and I will only need to change the mop head on occasion. Just make sure that you rinse out other mop, and it has a clip to stop the mophead from becoming a breeding ground for mildew and other horrid scents. There are cheaper and more expensive mop kits in the marketplace, but this is the best band for your !!!

I don't know if Vileda have cheapened the plastic used on this bucket because a friend has one which has been fine for years - but mine broke on the first use. I'll try another but don't hold out much hope the plastic on the mop wringer is very thin and you have to push pretty hard for it to fully wring the mop. A shame because the design is great otherwise.

Just make sure that you rinse out other mop, and it has a clip to stop the mophead from becoming a breeding ground for mildew and other horrid scents. Does the job. Holds the water. Compresses and removes the excess water from the mop. Not a lot but enough.
This is the best bucket I've ever had. The power press wringer works really well with the Vileda mop. It makes the mop exactly the right degree of wetness to clean the floor perfectly without it being too wet. The bucket is also a perfect shape and size for many other jobs too. It fits nicely under the tap for filling, and fits neatly in the cupboard beside the sink. The cleaning I get with my mop and bucket is far more thorough than I ever got with my old steam mop. It's a pleasure to use such a well designed bucket. 10 out of 10.
Vileda is my go to brand for mops. They are sturdy and reliable.This bucket and mop combo were an excellent price and I know will last for years.
The bucket itself is reasonably sturdy. The wringer feels solid and if I had to predict I think the plastic will last for maybe 100 mops.The real issue is the lack of a foot pedal or foot rest to hold the bucket in place as you wring the mop. It is easy to knock the mop over. This is also true when you're moving the bucket around, as a foot rest would inherently stabilise the bucket.
