Having mourned the loss of our 15 year old 35 bottle Vintec we took the plunge for a larger model. Wow what a difference it is to have the convenience of so much space and at near silence. It's also has impressive consumption that makes sure its not an energy monster!

I've only had the cabinet a month and so far its doing what you would expect with an acceptable noise level, although it seems to be frequently on well after the wines are to temperature. And I haven't opened the door. Perhaps the insulation could be better? (not in joinery and in an air-conditioned house). Time and energy consumption will be a better judge of the quality of this product. Ask me again in 2 years time.

I've had one of these for a couple of years now, and I have slowly been adding to my collection of reds. Plenty of space to hold 80-100 bottles long term comfortably, and to keep some clear space for the "drink now" bottles. Does a good job of temperature control, doesn't make too many adjustments to compensate for ambient temp/humidity, and generally is really quiet, which is fantastic. A great cabinet for this price point.

Vintec talk capacity in terms of standard bottle sizes. Unfortunately I have many bottle with either longer necks or bigger diameter. As a result I can generally only get 8 or 9 per shelf rather than 12, and for the fatter bottles the shelves jam. An extra 1cm between shelves would make a huge difference but alas no adjustments are possible.
My only problem is that I have quite a few bottles that are larger diameter. This should just mean that you can only fit 8 bottles, say, instead of 12 in each tray. However, there is insufficient vertical space between the trays to allow his to happen - the trays jam and can't be pulled in and out. Would it be possible to add just 0.5-1.0cm vertical distance between the trays? Just a small change here would totally remove the problem. Removin alternate trays and stacking bottles two high on each tray doesn't work either because the larger bottles to not settle neatly onto the wooden slats on each tray,so that the stacked bottles lean awkwardly and are unstable.
Purchased appx 4 weeks ago and runs like a dream. Currently holding several cases of Aussie Reds at a temperature far cooler than the average winter day in FNQ. This fridge keeps my wine chill and safe which makes me happy. Go for the big one, you can always buy more to fill it up.
Good sized cabinet for the regular wine drinker. Have had it for more than 2 years and one home relocation and performing very well. Only negative is the storage of different size bottles could be difficult. Excellent app supporting inventory of your wines.
Bought this cabinet to replace an old unamed brand. Am really happy with the look and feel of the cabinet. Enhances the space and gives me peace of mind that the wine is safe and sitting pretty.My only criticism is around the locking mechanism. It seems a bit flimsy.
We love our Vintec 130 bottle wine cabinet. It works perfectly and keeps our red wine at a perfect temperate in Queensland hot weather. We live in a small apartment and our wine cabinet looks modern in our lounge/dining area. We couldn't be happier - thank you Vintec and Appliances on LIne.
Use it to store reds mainly. Love the consistency of temperature, just take a bottle out bout an hour before you need it. Stylish unit that fits well with our decor. It is unfortunate that many wineries are adopting burgundy style bottles which I compromise the space In the unit.
