I purchased the V190SG2E-BK primarily as a multi-temperature cabinet to serve different wines at their perfect individual temperature and secondarily for long term storage. The 190-bottle capacity can store a reasonable quantity and range of wines giving flexibility to match wine with food and social occasions. I have checked, monitored, and found the temperature gradient from top to bottom is stable and matches exactly the digital settings, giving me confidence to cellar more expensive wines. The black cabinet with dark tinted glass doors, dark interior with timber shelves and dimmed LED lighting makes for a classy furniture piece recessed in a prime location for serving convenience. I love it.

Since purchase the wine cabinet has performed exceptionally well. Our whites are kept to a premium drinking temp and our many high quality reds are exceptional drinking after being stored. The rack adjustability is first rate. Even the fragrant smell of the timber shelving adds to the whole experience. Could not recommend the Vintec 198 bottle multi-temp wine cabinet more.

Reds, whites, bubbles - The dual zone cooling allows for the easy separation of your varietals.If I had 1 negative....(not really) .....maybe 2 or 3 extra shelves.Overall a fantastic wine display unit. We bought the fridge 6 months ago and it has been good for storing wine. Serving temperatures are reasonable if the wine is stored in the right location in the fridge when using the multitemp zoning, otherwise red wine can be a bit too cold for serving. Overall a fantastic fridge only let down by the bottle guide. We have a wide range of bottles from all over the world, including France and we cannot fit the bottle in the suggested configuration to fit the full 198 bottle. A more accurate description would be around 150 bottle fridge. For wine storage though it has been fantastic and whites are perfect drinking temperature. We cannot fault the quality of the product.
Will never fit the 198 bottles - though this is explained when purchased. Also serviced first week of ownership. The packing of the fridge means that the fridge seal is compressed by plastic and cardboard, with two gaps in seals. Advised to use hair dryer to heat and fix! Serviced and the technician used a hairdryer to heat the fridge seal and manipulate outwards. Change the packing! The fridge only holds about 80 bottles. Also to buy additional shelves are prohibitively expensive. The fridge does look very classy in the house and I love the look. Is holding the temperature fine at this point, though some reviews are also worrying about the long term life of the fridge - fingers crossed!

It will only comfortably hold about 100 bottles. Contrary to the user manual you CAN NOT fit two rows (front and back) of bottles on one shelf. If you stack them three high (up and down) the end bottles on the top layer are not supported. The shelves are poorly made and uneven. If you stand bottles up they lean randomly and threaten to fall over.It's as if the designers had never seen a wine bottle, let alone try and fill this cellar, sorry, I mean "wine storage cabinet".Our Kitchener claimed to hold 252, and you could fit 252. It was big and white and ugly, but a great cellar. It just worked.We'll stick with the Vintec because it fits perfectly in to a narrow space behind our bar, but our days of cellaring wine for 10 - 20 years are over due to the lack of space. They do look good, but we would prefer to cellar our wine rather than show it off.
Our 198-Bottle Multi-Temp Wine Cabinet recently arrived after a much anticipated wait after making a life changing decision to upgrade from our much-loved smaller 12 yo model. Super impressed with the product which includes all the bells and whistles. This has been like welcoming an additional member of the family. We have had a few dinner parties to show off our new love and are really enjoying filling it with some sensational wines. The ability keep our wines at temperature to serve and to showcase our most precious wines in a lighted display is simply wonderful.
I bought this fridge online without seeing it in person and wish that I had. I find the way that bottles are "stacked" on the shelves a little clunky and awkward to use. It's horrible if you need to get a bottle out that is at the back and bottom of a shelf. I also wished I had realised that the shelves do not glide out very easily, as they do on other Vintec fridges. Overall I think the fridge is a good quality product but is not the easiest to use for regular use. Probably better suited for someone looking for a cellaring solution without regular interaction
Have been using for over 6 months now and love the multi temp feature. It is quiet, efficient and looks fantastic.Unfortunately the design only allows for the shorter bottles on the top shelf, which limits the number of reds you will put in. If the multizone started 2 rows down that would be better, so you can have more reds up top.Also with the multi zone temps, we find the gap in the middle useless (the gap between temps for slightly chilled Italian reds and where we like our oaky chards).Another irritant is that the fridge doesn't cater all that well for thicker/wider bottles. You can't neatly stack them side by side due to the spacing provided on the wooden shelf.The quality of the fridge is amazing. I just wish it catered better for the variety of ... I purchased my fridge a year ago now and all is working well. It runs very quietly, looks great and easy to clean. No issues as yet. Being part of the Vintec club is also very helpful as in the customer support. So far so good and would recommend to anyone who doesn't wish to store wine offsite and doesn't have a large underground cellar.I was impressed with the unit so much I purchased another one second hand!
