This replaced a Fisher & Paykel wine cabinet that fritzed after 4 years and the sudden absence of loud compressor cycles is a revelation. The F&P wine unit competed on the noise front with the full-size fridge nearby. This Vintec replacement shows the difference a very quiet machine makes.Despite a narrower body, in real world operation this Vintec fits the same quantity of wine as the more standard F&P bar height fridge it replaced (admittedly with one zone not two).At the one month point it is doing everything it should. Heartily recommended small wine cabinet option; not the cheapest but hits a value sweet spot in the Vintec range.

It’s quiet, efficient and keeps a very stable temperature for the climate in which I live.Below zero overnight in Winter and low 40c in summer.Great product by Vintec for those with a smaller cellaring requirement. A quality product at a reasonable price. Buy one you won’t regret it.

Purchased this 30 btl fridge to replace our old one which we had previously set up in our old dishwasher space under kitchen counter. New model cannot be placed under an open counter even with some space around it- overheats and will void warranty to put it in this kind of location. No indication on website it could not be placed under a counter, yet this info all over box, fridge door and packaging. Box etc taken after install so we did not think we could return. We are unhappy with misleading advertising re: this unit, and have had to place in an alternative non-wet area of our house. The old red light inside has also been changed to a bright LED that shines light at night that can disturb sleep. Otherwise works ok, relatively quiet. I bought this a month ago for cellaring and am happy so far. Fridge is quiet, looks great and has held constant temperature. I haven’t filled it to capacity yet so not sure if 35 bottles will fit as non “standard” bottles seem to sit a little awkward in the shelving, I have stored mostly Pinot Noir. But I’m sure it will come close. And for the price and quality I’m happy to lose a couple of bottle spaces. I did take out extra insurance cover to extend the warranty for a further 3 years after reading other reviews and the price was still great.
Great little wine cabinet. Enough space to store 34 burgundy shaped bottles, including champagne. I love that I now can enjoy a glass of wine at a precise temperature. It's Autumn, however the days are still warm, so I have the temperature set to 10°c. As the days get colder, I'll raise it to 11-12°c. Now, note that I am a Chardonnay, aged Riesling and small grower Champagne drinker. What I need now, is to purchase a second vintec for my reds.Very happy with my purchase.
I bought the 35 bottle fridge for my wifes Christmas prezzie and its been awesome. Ill I Will never drink room temperature wine again! well not at home anyways. Fits plenty and keep them at the beautiful 18 degrees. The biggest problem i have is keeping it stocked. It also comes with a wine broker that has provided some beautiful wines at great prices. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
I purchased the fridge 2 months ago to replace an older model that I have had since 2012, v40sges3 and recently broke down due to a gas leak. The fridge looks nice and does its job. It is expensive for its capacity, however if you are storing nice wines you want to have a reliable fridge that will maintain its temperature. The downfall for this fridge is the noise of the fan. It is loud and having it placed under and Island bench in a kitchen in an open living designed area it is annoying. I hoped after the first night the noise would cease/ not be as noticeable. I called Vintec the day after purchase and queried the noise as it is noticeably louder than the fridge it replaced. I was advised that the new fridges are noise than older models due to the new fan system.

We bought two 35 bottle units to replace a 15 year old, 85 bottle cellar that had run its course. We did our homework and Vintec came out on top. They were so easy to set up, look great, work even better. You can actually fit 35 bottles. Different sized bottles do present a jig-saw type challenge, but that’s fun, too. Couldn’t be happier. The wine club and the OENO ap are a pleasant bonus. Can’t recommend them highly enough, so far.
