They have successfully branded their company, and now have several productsflavours100 purePeach and mangoTangerinePineappleAcai PomThe product Im reviewing is the 100 pure one I dont think I will be trying the other flavours, as I like this taste and dont want to drink something with unnecessary ingredients in if Im drinking it for health benefits.BENEFITSThe benefits of drinking coconut water is that it is 100 natural. Theres no fat, and no cholesterol. It contains more potassium than two bananas, and it contains five essential electrolytes. Electrolytes are important as they replenish the bodys water levels after dehydration caused by electrolytes. That all sounds very technical, but does it actually work Is it better than drinking waterAN EXPERIMENTIn the interests of a fair and hopefully informative review, I decided to run an experiment. Ok, there are no lab coats involved, but I am trying to make it as accurate as possible. My experiment is in short me attending a 2 hour football training session twice. One time, I only drink water after the experiment. The other time, I drink coconut water after the experiment. To keep the conditions as similar as possible, I ensured that Iate the same diet at the same time of day boiled egg with orange juice for breakfast can of tuna for lunch with one spring onion and a glass of water.had a similar training session. Run up and down Primrose Hill once, followed by some drills and 30 minutes of getting down and dirty, playing football at the end.As I knew I would be dehydrated afterwards, I drank 830ml of water after my first training session, then 500ml of water and 330ml of coconut water after the second training session. I then observed what time it was until I felt dehydrated again.SO WHAT WAS MY RESULTI found that I was not thirsty until midnight having had the coconut water, but was thirsty at half ten after the water. The coconut water seemingly kept me hydrated for an extra 90 minutes As well as that, the weather was different it was actually hotter on the second training session, but I was less dehydrated. There is a caveat to this of course its not scientifically proven that its a fact. Its proven by a reviewer on ciao with limited scientific knowledge. Im also aware that there may be a placebo effect, and perhaps I willed myself to not want to be dehydrated having drunken the coconut water. Who knows.PACKAGINGThe packaging is a tetra pack carton, which ensures the product stays fresh. It is sealed by a foil, which reveals a sizable hole about the size of a thumb print. It doesnt come with a straw, but you can easily drink from it. On a personal level, I think the art design of the product is too crowded, and shows the inexperience of the company it may be a matter of personal preference, but I far prefer branding similar to that of innocent drinks.DIETARY INFORMATIONThe typical value per 100ml is as followsEnergy 19kcalProtein 0gCarbohydrates 5g of which sugars 5gFat 0gFibre 0gSodium 12mgCalcium 20mgMagnesium 12mgPotassium 224mg. This is 11 of RDAVitamin C 45mg. This is 56 of RDA.Like a lot of packaging out there, I find that it can be misleading as the carton is 330g. The Vitamin C levels are 184.8 the RDA. I guess consuming too much wont do you any harm though...The coconut water is also suitable for vegetarians and gluten free diets.TASTEOddly enough, this tastes different to the Dr Youngs coconut water. It was sweeter, and didnt have such a strong coconut taste not the malibubounty bar type coconut tastesmell, but the more bittersweet taste of coconut water. Its not quite as good as drinking it straight from the coconut, but given that is rarely an option, I would say this is a pretty good substitute.PRICINGThe average price is about 1.50 for a 330ml carton, available at Ocado, HollandBarret, and from online stores such as amazon, goodness direct planet organic. If you get really addicted to the coconut water, you can buy 1l for 4, or 12l for 50. As it is still a relatively new company, their price point seems to be quite flexible I would therefore recommend shopping around for the product.WOULD I RECOMMEND ITI wouldnt recommend this product as something you just buy to drink to replace fruit juice, as its quite pricey. I would recommend you to consume this if you normally drink sports drinks after training from my experience, it helps to rehydrate you, and there are no added nasties. Theres also the benefit of there being very few calories not as little as water, admittedly. If you do like the sound of coconut water and have not tasted it before, perhaps try a cheaper version first You can buy cartons for 50p or so, but they will most likely not be 100 pure coconut water, and may have some additives.this review is also available on ciao and dooyoo under the username shoppingpenguin

I have to say, coconut water is an absolute game-changer! It's a refreshing and natural beverage that's become a staple in my daily routine. The taste is wonderfully tropical, and it's incredibly hydrating. I love that it's a healthier alternative to sugary drinks, and it's packed with electrolytes, making it perfect for post-workout recovery or simply quenching your thirst on a hot day. Plus, it's eco-friendly as it often comes in recyclable packaging. Overall, coconut water has earned a permanent spot in my fridge, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and hydrating drink.

It takes a very strong product for me to take my time out of my day to write a review. I am writing this review because I appreciate this product. And someone may find it helpful. The only product I like from this company is their ORIGINAL COCONUT WATER. I find their pressed one is not that good and their mixed ones do not taste good to me. I take lots of baths to detox and hydrate my skin. One of the things I do is drink about half a gallon of water. At the same time, I use to drink sports products with lots of sugar in them until I tied coconut water. That taste is great. I can taste the water and it gives me carbohydrates and I’m told electrolytes. Plus, it helps me remove the toxins out of my body as it acts as a powerful laxative. If I have to give zero out of 10 I give it a 7..👍
6 December 2022

I tried quite a few coconut water products. Vita coconut water with electrolytes the taste I give it about a 7. Even though it's not organic they do have a organic of their brand but it makes me a little disappointed because the organic has a little added sugar and they shouldn't do that if organic it should be all natural. The real coconut water has a red pink tint to it these are antioxidants. Even though there are a variety of different coconut species. When I got sick with late stage Lyme disease I started studying healthy foods and drinks and I know a lot about health foods. Processed sugars or any added sugars are bad for our bodies even if it's just a little added sugar it's still bad. Otherwise this coconut water it's okay I will buy it again in the future ... MoreI tried quite a few coconut water products. Vita coconut water with electrolytes the taste I give it about a 7. It's not the best coconut water that you can buy but it's a reasonable price. I just don't understand this type of coconut water why they have to put 2g of sugar but what I like about this coconut water it has a little bit of potassium it has a little bit of calcium and it has vitamin c a little bit of magnesium and a little bit of phosphorus.

I’ve enjoyed Vitacoco for a long time but recently noticed that some cartons contained coconut water that was a very definite yellow color rather than the milky white. Vitacoco thought it was likely to have been caused by a transport or grocery shop storage problem, but agreed to investigate from their end and sent me a 6-pack of large cartons as compensation. These have all been fine so far and I’m generally pleased with how they responded to my concerns.I hope to continue to enjoy Vitacoco in its optimum condition. The store from which the yellow colored product was bought also reimbursed me for the one carton I took back (after emailing with Vitacoco) but insisted that their storage was no different to their usual high standards.I hope that this problem will ... MoreI’ve enjoyed Vitacoco for a long time but recently noticed that some cartons contained coconut water that was a very definite yellow color rather than the milky white. I’ve noticed in the last couple of years an inconsistency to VitaCoco water; sometimes it would be milky with a hint of pineapple; sometimes “tinted” opaque water with a hint of pineapple. The case I just bought is yellow water - more pineapple with a hint of coconut. Before this, I had bought large cartons 2x that both had large clumps/masses of a gelatin type substance in the water… It’s disappointing, as Vitacoco when I discovered it was the only coconut water i would buy. I still haven’t landed on a similar coconut water that I loved as much as the original formula. I’m wondering if you need more inspection at your processing plants, to scale back a bit? It’s not cheap water, but I’m willing to pay for it as long as I know what i’m getting. Peach & Mango Is The Best Coconut Water
23 April 2023

Vita Coco Peach & Mango Coconut Water is truly the best! I have a really severe case of acid reflux that medicine doesn't help. So, I can't drink anything with citric acid or carbonation in it. Also, I get migraines triggered by caffeine. So, basically I could only drink milk and water. I was so tired of plain water and putting fresh cucumbers or fresh fruit in it. All flavorings added to water have citric acid and/or carbonation. I couldn't even drink Gatorade to get electolytes and to stay hydrated when ill, because I would throw it up. I often ended up dehydrated and hospitalized to get IV fluids for hydration. Not anymore since finding Vita Coco Peach & Mango Coconut Water. It contains natural ingredients, electrolytes, hydrates, and above all else tastes so good ... MoreVita Coco Peach & Mango Coconut Water is truly the best! SocialMedia Made These Popular Really Hard To Find
7 October 2023

I really could appreciate Sams Club being there when I really needed them. I really wanted to start buying the Vita Coco in bulk at this selective size for convenience. Perfect for work lunch after working out or just to have a drink. At this size you know the exact amount you’re drinking. Once Sams started offering these they were really hard to find because of social media making them in demand. I placed the order online and everything showed up on time and boxes were not damaged at all while being shipped. I will continue to have these ordered because the stores in my area are always sold out. People buy these at my local by the pallets. Great buy great product.

this last one I purchased was spoiled or something. it tasted rotten %26 unfortunately I drank some. I opened water and poured into my water bottle that has a straw. I drank it and swallowed and the rest that was still in my mouth I spit out. I went to check the carton to see expiration date but it was not expired yet. Not sure why It was spoiled tasting. not unless it was older than the expiration they stamped on the box. my stomach was hurting by 730 am this morning Aug 9th 2023. I drank that coconut water a little after midnight. This is making me not trust drinking out of these kinds of things because you cant tell if something is wrong with the product inside. It has to be something they can do to test these products. Vita Coco Coconut Water 330ml (12 x 330ml)
6 December 2020

When recently browsing the various brands of coconut water in a large supermarket, I noticed that most of them contained added coconut pulp sugar. Vita Coco lists its ingredients as natural coconut water, less than 1 fruit sugar, vitamin C. Frankly, Im not sure whether this means less than 1 fruit sugar has been added or if they just mean that natural coconut water naturally contains fruit sugar they need to mention this for diabetics, etc. Either way, Vita Coco was more natural than the others on the shelf. The only other contender is Cocofina which I previously got through Amazon merely lists its ingredients as 100 coconut water. However, while Vita Coco comes in different sized environmentallyfriendly Tetra Paks, Cocofina comes in cartons, cans plastic bottles. Perhaps some coconut connoisseurs can tell the difference between coconut water from Brazil Vita Coco or Thailand Cocofina but aside from that, the only real difference is price packaging. Its worth noting that Vita Cocos Tetra Paks have a longer shelflife roughly a year than Cocofinas plastic bottles just a few months. With coconut water, the strength of the flavour can vary depending on when its extracted. Initially I thought that this would be quite a subtle difference but upon drinking, found that the difference is very distinct from carton to carton. Personally, I prefer coconut water when its quite weak I have become used to the flavour but still wouldnt go so far as to say that I like it but like that I dont know how strong its going to be from carton to carton as it gives some variety. A bit like drinking tea made by other people, I suppose. Besides, personally I can overlook the taste because of its many health benefits as well as containing vitamins electrolytes, coconut water is naturally isotonic with about a fifth of the sugar of fruit juices, the absorption of which is also limited by the fibre it contains. It also contains more potassium than bananas. This all adds up to make it a much more healthy alternative to sugarpacked isotonic sports drinks. If youre looking for coconut water, Vita Coco is more natural than most of its competitors, with a longer shelflife.
