I have been taking Fish Oil capsules every day for many years to protect my heart health. I have been told by my MD to take these tablets and I have followed his orders. I was recently tested and told that I have no cardiac disease. I am 65 years old and feel that I will do anything to protect my heart. These capsules are large but easy to swallow with water. I take them with meals and have had no issues at all with swallowing or digesting.This is so much easier than eating fish every day. I would recommend this product.

I was told to look for Pharmaceutical Grade fish oils. Do my research of course and don't be scared of higher prices. He also reccomended storing them in the fridge (not as necessary with the better fish oils such as these but I still do it) his advice helped me a lot. I actually fell off of taking my vitamins and fish oils and it was so gradual I don't quite think I realize how bad I have been starting to feel. Its been about a year so I recently decided to try these and honestly after a month I feel such a difference. I have been using these for awhile! I like that there is no fishy taste-although I honestly can't say they taste like lemon either. Seems to be a good quality, but they are on the larger side!
This item is just what I was looking for. the other brand I use (enteric coated) is not available. so I switched to this brand. I like it better. only thing is it's not as potent as the other brand. since it's so pure though. I think I'm getting more of it absorbed.
Ultra Pure Fish Oil by Vital Nutrients was recommended by a Naturopathic physician friend. I used to take a comparable fish oil purchased at a health food store. I ran out of Vital Nutrients fish oil for a week, and went back on the previous one. I took it for a week, and could feel a noticeable difference in brain function. I'm back on Vital Nutrients, and willingly pay the higher price. My brain is worth it!
I bought this because it sounded like a good fish oil. Never thought after reading the other reviews that the pill would be so large. I cannot swallow pills that large, so I contacted Vitacost and they credited me. Thank you Vitacost. Not sure if this is a good fish oil or not! If it would still work to pop it open and just take the oil that might be an option! I suggested Vitacost put a pill size in the description like some other companies do. That would help those of us who have restrictions.
Excellent enteric coating with no capsule leaks fishy/smell (like so many others do), also releases where it should with no fishy burps etc. I like it’s also so highly purified and the fatty acid balance is good.Expensive but it’s quite good.
