I bought this blender to replace another one - knowing it would be a decent upgrade. People laughed at me when I told them how much I paid, in hopes to somehow get my friends' nod of approval. After taking years to decide, I bought my blender like 2 weeks ago and was super excited but the controls don’t seem to be working right. I have to press the start switch a good few times and when I move the knobs to start the blend, it’s unresponsive most times, I have to go back and forth several times and then it suddenly works. First time I used the preprogrammed smoothie setting, it took several attempts going back between the start/stop switch to get it to work. This sis such an anticlimactic experience for something I saved up so long for and that I’ve only used a few times.It’s almost as if the jug is not detected most times, I take it off and replace it several times and then try the start button again, go back to select the blend setting and nothing ... What an amazing piece of kit. I had doubts about spending so much on this model but wouldn’t ever look back now. The whole family use it to prep just about anything you can imagine. Far more than a blender. My only negative is we have purchased the small jars and drinks containers and the base needs tightening up really tight for the magnets to register. My wife finds it difficult to get the thing tight enough for it to work. A little bit of design improvement needed there! I look forward to Vitamix releasing the Balance in the UK so the app can work properly.

I finally purchased this one after a day of research of looking for a food processor and being fed up with my nutribullet, that I’ve replaced twice now.I wanted a machine that could do everything basically and although I’ve not put the Vitamix A2500i to the full test, what I have done with it so far has given great results. I make protein fruit smoothies every morning and they come out like silk - just like it says.I bought this model for the 3 programmes for smoothies, soups and ice cream. I’m going to test out thesoups and ice cream soon. I have no doubt that these will work well. I absolutely love my vitamin ascent 2500i, I mainly use it for smoothies every day but do use it for other things when I get the time. However, my only gripe with it is that for the price you would expect a glass jug. It is supposed to be self-cleaning but after a couple of weeks of doing this after making smoothies, rinsing it out then following the instructions, there were still lots of bits of debris getting stuck on the sides and in the angles etc. So I've had to abandon that method of cleaning it and even scrub it with a scourer sometimes if I've had seeds in a smoothie for example. And I have to do the soaking in vinegar and water thing to get it properly clean as the blades get tarnished and the jug itself gets tarnished with mineral deposits as well. Other ... Very very unhappy with the smoothie maker which was £100. So terribly difficult to close the motor for it to work. Have to try 10 times before i get results. The actual vitamix is in my opinion very overpriced. I realise it is a quality machine but so difficult to use. Most unhappy. Also every soup has to be liquidised. I would like some soups to be cubed or at least not liquidised to a pulp. My main gripe is with the smoothie maker. I have now read reviews and lots of people complaining about it. Regret ourchase. .

The alignment magnets in the big jug stopped working when I used the smaller jug. I was told it’s because the big jug is from Nov 2020 and doesnt work well with the newer units. The company is sending me a replacement jug. Apart from this I’m very happy with how the unit blends. Very happy with the purchase and the Myer sales person was very helpful.
I bought this vitamix after careful research and wanted go healthy with green soups and smoothies.So good that my entire house hold loves it so easy to use my son 5 year old son canOperate it.Powerful, consistent and smart.So many accessories came with the offer, on the go bottles brilliant for 1 person.The grinding mill cups brilliant for salads, dips and sauces, can use for dry grinding.Haven't used the tamper yet as it blends everything smooth. Perfect control options to blend smooth or leave a bit of texture in your beverages.Will get the dry jug to complete the package.Awesome would recommend to all, get the greens in!!!!!!
Vitamix delivers a more “advanced” but less solid version of the 750 pro.not everything needs to be updated& moved into the 21st century just for the sake of presenting a “new& more advanced” product.in comparison to the 750 series, the 2500i lacks quality material around the motor block& seems rather cheap despite the little difference in price.the flip switch to activate the blender did not work properly most of the times.Two or even three attempts were necessary way to often to activate the blender.not including a automatic cleaning program is just a dirty way to try& sell the more “sophisticated” & of course more expensive 3500i.not everybody wants to make dips, iced desserts or Hummus.but everyone will eventually clean the Vitamix.i had the ...
