This product is awesome! I only mix one scoop for a post workout with my regular protein post workout. I don't feel as fatigued and its extremely awesome! I'll even drink a little bit intra-workout and it is extremely FAST acting. I feel it within a few minutes. I love it! The only thing is that its a bit pricey. All I gotta say is. You get what you pay for and you definitely get a good carb complex. Good stuff. Highly recommend this.

I add this to my pre-workout (Cellucor C4) and post-workout (Dymatize ISO 100). The energy I get from adding this to my pre-workout is worth the cost alone. I've been taking this for about two months, but can't attest to whether it's helped my in terms of gains or power, anymore than protein alone. Either way, I'm gaining strength and building lean muscle mass, so I'm not going to change my formula by cutting this out.Also, if you order the 11lb tub, know that it is a monstrosity so large they gave it a handle..good luck finding the scoop.Lastly, much respect to Genr8, for not making the 11lb tub twice as big as it needs to be to hold the product. I opened this sucker and it was full to the brim with carby-goodness.

Mixing: 6/10:This is where the review gets mixed for me. As I really like what the product does. I like a cold drink. so if you take cold refrigerated water and add vitragro and protein, then blend it up in blender, it comes out luke warm and sorta a slimy. If you add ice cubes to cool it off and blend them, by the time you get it to a glass, the vitragro starts to separate to clumps on bottom of glass, because the mixture is colder. Plus this stuff slimes up the blender sides, you have to literally scrub it off or let it soak for a while. I believe this a really good product, but I think the new Karbolyn is better as the flavors are stronger and Karblyn mixes like a dream, hot or cold, no slime, clumping. But I also beleive the body gets use to things so this is a good option to use in rotation with Karbolyn. That is how I am going to use it. 75% time Karbolyn/25% Vitragro. As far as carb loading and pumps both Karbolyn and Vitragro are really good high speed loaders that stay active over 2 hours. Karbolyn's mix-ability and stronger flavors just gives it an edge over Vitragro.

I bought this product with the hopes of increasing my energy and performance levels. I started running a lot ( threadmill) and did about 40 miles per week in addition to weight training 5/wk/2hrs. I was extremely tired and sore the following day. I first heard about this product while watching a workout dvd featuring Pro Bodybuilder Marcus Ruhl. He said he used Vitargo. I used this product faithfully but was still bone tired. The taste was mild but pleasant. I decided to visitor the doctor instead and found out I have hypothyroidism or an underactive thyroid which was causing my tiredness. I also found out I am hypoglycemic. I feel that vitargo not only didn't help me gain muscle, but actually made it harder to lose weight. I used it as part of kris gethin's program where it's recommended as a post workout supp, but my guess is that he gets paid to do so. that being said, why take it after lifting but before cardio as in mr gethin's program? why would I want to spike my depleted glycogen reserves just before doing cardio if fatloss is a goal? BTW, eating a candy bar will do the same thing and cost much, much less. or better yet, if fat loss isn't your goal as much as muscle gain is, use dextrose instead. A 20 lb container from amazon is still cheaper than a 1.7 lb container of vitargo and you're getting over 10 times more product and it will mix MUCH easier than vitargo! Vitargo is my go to for post workout recovery! I would highly recommend this to anyone especially those who have a busy schedule. I take it right after my workout, go home to get ready for work. And eat once I get to work. Just cuts down that extra eating time between gym and work which is super important to me. Amazing flavors, Orange is my favorite by far!!

I've only had the orange but it taste good. Many Pre Intra and PWO supps are nasty, I've had every flavor of regular vitargo and all are good, I prefer grape the best. This does taste a bit different than your standard vitargo due to the hydrolyzed whey but it's still good. I always seem to recover faster, with shorter periods of DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) when I use this religiously post workout. 1 serving is quite a bit 2 & 1/3 scoops per my label at 390 calories. I don't always have this much, I might only take 1 or 1.5 scoops if I expect to eat whole food in the next 90 minutes. 1 scoop is sufficient for it's anti-catabolic effects post workout.

Awesome product. The unflavored mixes perfectly with plain water, adding no disgusting taste that I usually associate with unflavored powders. I take half a scoop during my workout and one scoop immediately post-workout and my overall recovery is solid. The price is a little high, but I am willing to continue purchasing this product thanks to the results.

This is by far the best post-workout carb drink I've tried. If you follow the directions it doesn't clump and the nice thing about this is the taste is not overpowering, it's got a light flavour to it. Doesn't get too thick so it's very easy to drink, really helps me energy levels after a hard workout. I noticed I started gaining more size when I take this. Would recommend.
