My ratings are purely based off the accuracy of the functionality of this tripod. This was something recommended by many online sources as a starter tripod to get with this camera and I am glad I did. One thing off the top of my head that I like about this tripod is you don't actually have to use it if you are let's say....using your camera for a show case video.So I have an actual 6ft fully extended tripod that I would set my camera up on and use this tripod as the remote to start/stop my videos. Solidly built, decent addition for handheld stabilization, but what really seals it are the Bluetooth control features. Wireless record and zoom are game changers. Could be a little clearer on setup. Using it with the zv-1f makes for a compact all in one vlogging kit.

You sync your camera through bluetooth, it has a very easy to follow directions in how to sync the camera to the kit.This very uncomplicated device, there's a part to change the camera's point of view being in front or as a selfie stick, point more up or more lower depending on the shot, it's legs that come out help make it into a little tripod, and all the buttons and functions on the kit work just as they should. …it had an extender (for the lack of a better word). It’s the perfect size for table top footage but outside of that… it’s lacking. Great size to fit in a small bag. Lightweight too. Sometimes the bottons are not responsive (which is not a huge deal for me). I brought this in a bundle. I ended up buying a tripod that extends from Amazon that was WAY cheaper.
It’s a nice addition for the camera but it make the camera feel heavy when vlogging. I like that it feels sturdy and quality is great. Love the locking mechanism so I don’t accidentally take pictures while it’s in my purse. But overall I don’t use it as much for vloging (hand held) as it gets uncomfortable for me quickly. It’s cool for sitting it in things and getting good angles. I would get a lighter cheaper option if using primarily for hand held vlogging.

Also when not holding the handle it also doubles as a tripod and the camera is able to be tilted at multiple angles and spins 360 degrees. This is a good accessory but I wish the tripod would extend to become a more usable tripod instead of just a hand-held device. Its solidly built, a bit too bulky for my taste, but I am getting the hang of it.Its very easy for my fingers to press the wrong button and I actually mistakenly turned off the video recording of NYE festivities as I mistakenly pressed the off button while recording. So, lesson learned.Only other advantage I see is that its compatible to other Sony products so its useful in my son's A7C.
I enjoy this vlogger kit. I'm not techy person and I even ask geek squad to help me set this up! Because it needs to be paired with the camera lol I'm that lazy to pair it and technology is eating me up but the Geek Squad got my back even on this simplest pairing. Being with Best buy membership has a lot of perks convenient and people there are so approachable. It comes with free SD card too!
