I bought the wall mount a week ago and installed it yesterday and was so impressed with the quality of this unit I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. The mount is so maneuverable it surpasses all my expectations and will look out for this brand if I ever need another one. Set up was easy enough as they supply lots of different fixings and spacers aswell as letting you search your tv model so you canât get the wrong one really! It is a little expensive compared to others but I donât mind as itâs good quality and I donât want my 49inch telly swinging around on a cheap mount! Would definitely recommend if your willing to part with a little more moneyThe only gripe I have with this is that nowhere in the set up instructions does it tell you that to use the 10degrees up and down tilt you have to pull the tv (one hand on the top and one on the bottom) up and down until a magnet releases. I bought this full motion bracket for a 55â LG OLED TV and it does what I want without fault. I have a gripe with the installation instructions though.My TV is now mounted on a newly built media wall constructed from stud walling. Now this may be common knowledge to some but I was unaware that the 3 fixing points for the bracket are OFF CENTRE to the TV and there was no mention of this on the Vogel website in the installation instructions. I checked beforehand as the mounting was to be on new studwork and I wanted to make sure there was a sturdy stud correctly positioned to fix it to. I duly incorporated a doubled up 4â x 2â stud central to the TV space only to find that the fixing is some 45mm off centre to the TV and the fixings consequently miss the side of ... MoreI bought this full motion bracket for a 55â LG OLED TV and it does what I want without fault. Also the fixing points for the hanging rails donât make even spacing top and bottom of the TV possible as per the instructions but Iâm guessing that as the LG TV is bottom heavy the two square fixing holes in the rails that match the bolt holes on the TV are the ones to use - hopefully.The off-centre fixing is not mentioned anywhere in the installation instructions and although I didnât use the installation app they rave about if I had done, it would have directed me to fix into a hollow part of the stud wall.The instructions need to include mention of the off-centre fixings so consumers can plan their positioning accordingly and if - like me - they are constructing something new to mount it on they can make sure the mounting position is solid.The bracket itself is well built and performs very well with levelling and âplumbingâ very straightforward.

And ⌠it works brilliantly! Stored flat against the wall, the mirror projects only 10cm from the wall (tucked well away), whereas before the legs were at least 45 cm from the skirting board. The mirror can be adjusted with two fingers, really easily. There are now two more axes of rotation in addition to the traditional up and down (vertical) swing. And, as a further advantage, the mirror can be used to reflect into any other additional mirror in the room to provide a a rear view, too.Well, needless to say, the mount has worked brilliantly for us, even though we have used it for something other than a TV. The slots in the arms are of a width to suit 6mm & 8mm headed screws so you need to use the washers provided when you fit the M4 screws.The bracket Itself was attached to a 38mm CLS vertical stud on a Dry Lined wall and is incredibly secure using the three supplied fastenings and is well capable of taking the weight of the Toshiba TV.Attaching and aligning the TV to the Bracket is easy and the instruction are very clear although the assembly process Is straight forward.I would not hesitate to recommend this Bracket and Vogels communication process is the best I have ever experienced.
I bought this wall mount in early Jan 2022 to mount a new LG OLED 55C1 TV. I mounted myself and found this to be user friendly (I am not very handy generally). The design is very nice visually but after using for 3 weeks I have a few issues with the practical usage. First the arm is very stiff so i really have to pull hard to move the TV out and side to side (my normal viewing position is to the left so every day i move it fully out and left). This worries me as the OLED screen is very thin at the top part and i fear it will be damaged. Second the bottom nut which secures the TV does not hold so it shifts left to right when moving the TV. I bought the Vogels after extensive research in multiple brackets and finally decided to give the vogels a go.Its packaging is excellent, construction is solid and while its hard to trust it to hold an expensive tv this bracket gave me all the confidence to hang our unit onto.The quality in the instructions is surprisingly the best i have ever experienced and the unit is worth purchasing alone on that!Very happy will definitely buy again
Iâve used Vogelâs mounts before and havenât been disappointed yet. The first one was a THIN 315 and performed excellent. It even came with itâs own level to get it lined up. This mount however was just what I needed since the sofa and the TV is off centered in my new house. The wall piece has three holes to help you align it properly and the one on the top and bottom are larger for those off center drilled holes that can happen and you would still have the mount level. A nice touch would be to offer a small level fixed on the mount it self. I mounted this by myself and it is sturdy and some what heavy to drill holes and align by yourself so the level wouldâve been great (it was tricky to hold a separate level and the mount and the drill). I bought this yesterday and installed yesterday in a wardrobe! with a tight fit.Fortunately the unit has lots of adjustment and I was interested in the up and down position mostly.Unfortunately a part of the installation process was faulty which caused me to waste 30 minutes and of course the manufacturer's mistakes generates frustration.The instructions definitely say to install the vertical members with the screws on the inside.My tv had 100mm by 100mm screw centres.Thus there was not enough room to fit the face plate on the arm.
