Finally recovered from a broken Humerus bone. After 3 years of recovery. The Monitor accurately showed I lost 20mph. For myself, I got a lot of work to increase my swing speed. My brother after first use, he changed his back swing wrist cock and increased his swing speed by 5mph. A friend with knowledge of a good swing was able to adjust on the driving range and witness his corrections. This tool is worth the price when discounted.

The SC200 Plus launch monitor serves as a basic practice tool. Have used with my irons that are somewhat "calibrated" using a Shot Scope GPS devise. Good accuracy with that data for most of my irons. I was interested in using the SC200 Plus to better control the distances of my wedges especially at half and 3/4 distances. It appears that the accuracy below 90 yards with these irons is not good as all distances are pretty much the same even though actually distances are not.the same. That is the only negative that I have determined with about 1 month of use. That error rate for half shots seems to be confirmed by other reviews that I have read. Remote is a little "touchy" but very useful. Volumn control is good and also useful if there are other golfers using the ... MoreThe SC200 Plus launch monitor serves as a basic practice tool. Battery life appears to be better than some of the other reviews that I have read on this model. Would recommend if you are wanting to monitor the consistency of your golf swing and not merely just "banging balls" on the range. IF you need more data such as spin and launch angle, than you will need to purchase another model.

Purchased on Cyber Monday. Thoroughly researched monitors under $500 for off season use with net (not sure how accurate it will be). While other monitors are more feature rich at slightly higher price point, I decided to go with this model for ease of use as I'm not a huge smart phone user looking for that type of integration. However, it would be nice if stats were a bit more extensive or able to be tracked/stored on another device (i.e. computer) for future analysis via bluetooth or other connection process. For now, I've resorted to creating a spreadsheet manually to track progress after each session.

I was in the market for one of the low cost swing monitors on the market and did a lot of research and read through reviews and for a product in this price range, the SC200 seemed to be the highest rated. I am very satisfied with the unit. It delivers the feedback that I need and I find the accuracy to be adequate. I did have the opportunity to compare numbers to a Trackman and it was within +/- 3%.Keep in mind that there are so many variables in golf - temperature, ball type, wind, etc, that I have found that the absolute numbers aren't as important as the relative numbers. Say you hit one ball 220 yards, and then the next one 200 yards. Are the absolute numbers accurate? Who knows, but you can see how your swing speed and smash factor vary. Very good feedback. Also, when I bought the unit, the only upgrade over the previous model was the practice mode giving you swing speed without a golf ball. At first I didn't think that was worth it, but having used the unit, I actually find that to be very useful and actually eye-opening. You can see how your swing speed drops off with a ball if you aren't careful.Having the unit draws attention and virtually everyone who has seen it and tried it loves it.
I purchased this particular monitor because it does everything I need to map out my club distances, and at a fraction of the cost. It sets up behind the bag about 5' back, and with the remote I can select different clubs, and lofts for clubs. I went to my fitter who has a $ 14,000 Trackman, and the distances were spot on. I don't need to see where on the face I hit it, the launch angle displays, or the dispersion rate, I can see that with my own eyes at the range. Ordering was simple, and the product was delivered quickly. This is an outstanding device, and PlayBetter is equally outstanding.
This past Christmas Santa delivered exactly what I was wishing for; a Swing Caddie Launch Monitor. It has all the key features I need to help improve my game in a relatively inexpensive easy to use device. You just place the SC200 behind your ball and swing. After each swing the device will audibly give shot carry. If I want more info I can just look at the display and read swing speed, ball speed and smash factor. I really like the voice feature as I can just tee up another ball and whack away again without having to bend down and check the display. You can select the club you’re using so that you get the correct loft and associated Smash Factor. The SF factor tells you how close to the sweet spot you’ve hit the ball. The max SF is 1.5 for your driver. Note that ... MoreThis past Christmas Santa delivered exactly what I was wishing for; a Swing Caddie Launch Monitor. The max SF is 1.5 for your driver. Note that smash factor varies with loft. Since the SC200 lets you select any club in your bag you get an accurate SF for each club. Since I live in New England and it’s still too cold for outdoor golf I have been hitting foam golf balls in my garage. Even though the ball speed is much much lower than a real ball, I’ve been able to make minor swing adjustments and maximize my swing speed and distance. Once the weather warms I’m really anxious to get real SC 200 averaged distances for each club that I can use on the course.
I purchased the Net Return Pro Series Golf Net and Mat along with the Swing Caddie 2 SC200 launch monitor. I've waited a few months to write a review so I would have ample time to use both products. Both are quality products that work very well. The Net Return net and mat gives me instant feedback on pushed, pulled or straight shots. Additionally it's wonderful to hit shot after shot using only one ball. The Swing Caddie 2 is surprisingly accurate. I use both of these products in my garage during the cold midwest winter months. One word of caution, when using indoors, make sure you have sufficient ceiling height. Overall these are great practice tools.
I bought this about a year ago online and I’ve never gotten consistent data. First off the swing speed function is incredibly inaccurate. I typically swing my driver at around 90-95 and it will give me swing speed measures of 105-113 which is incredibly misleading, with my seven iron I swing at around 75-80 miles an hour and it will give me readings of 85-93. Distances with short irons aren’t terribly inaccurate but anything longer than an 8 iron is incredibly inaccurate. My seven iron goes about 150 but I’ve seen numbers range from 135-180 and my driver is even worse, whenever I hit something really well I’ll get a distance in the low 100s and something that isn’t great will get a distance in the 200s range, keep in mind I hit my driver 240-250. I’ve been fortunate to use systems such as foresight and trackman which are far more accurate in giving consistent data. I understand that not everyone has access to the super expensive launch monitor but for $350 it’s probably just best to save up for a system like flightscope mevo or something else in the 500-1000 dollar range to get better and more consistent data.
I ordered a golf club from Global Golf on the 14th and ordered this launch monitor from Rock Bottom Golf with a $120 discount and free shipping five days later on the 19th. I already have my launch monitor but still no golf club. Great price and fast shipping illustrates just a couple of multiple reasons why Rock Bottom Golf continues to be the best online golf vendor. I am disappointed in Swing Caddie in that not only did I have to buy batteries for the launch monitor but the battery in the remote was dead on arrival so I had to run out and a get a replacement in order to determine if the remote was functioning. Five stars for Rock Bottom but only four stars for the launch monitor due to the battery issues.
I purchased these products for home use, due to my location and the building that I set up as a practice area I do not receive a signal for the internet. The SC200 is perfect for my needs and has been very accurate and helpful with my golf swing, both the net and mat are quality products and I would not hesitate suggesting to others that RainOrShine has informative folks that can help with products that best suit your needs. When I had any questions or concerns the customer support folks were prompt and helpful in every way, going forward there is no need for me to search the web for items and pricing because I will save time and money by contacting RS
