Use the 2nd; otherwise speeds will crawl down to 50-100mbs.Another notable limitation is that Macs M1 does not able to support triple display outputs. This means that unfortunately, the hub wasn't able to connect two separate displays, only able to MIRROR an existing display. On a Mac Mini M1; this means that you will have to use the HDMI to drive a second monitor, and use a display port or another HDMI ~ from the Volans hub to drive the primary monitor.

If you're buying this to run multiple screens at 1920 or greater don't bother.A Volans USBC to dual HDMI adapter works from my laptop to dual 3840 screens.This adapter doesn't. What a waste of money.
