The Roan Bib is the real hookup when it comes to coverage. 15Ks of breathable waterproofing comes in a 2-Layer V-science shell made with REPREVE recycled fibers and non-fluorinated DWR for less of an impact on the environment and a big impact on the elements. A relaxed cut, adjustable elastic suspenders, and neoprene jersey at side waists let you get fit and layering dialed in, while the overall style, fully-taped seams and Zip Tech jacket-to-pant interface give you the top-to-toe coverage of a onesie with the mobility of a pant.

This is my first bib. I got it in the spring of 2021 and I am loving it. Suspenders are wide and comfortable. The additional chest pockets are really nice. Not sure why there are belt loops. The zip fly is NOT functional! It's practically useless as it is really small and situated too high for me. I don't have a matching Volcom jacket so not sure about the ZipTech, but it's a nice feature. The side zip is short and not very effective IMO but getting the bibs on and off are not a problem for me. The thigh vents work well. I like that these bibs are uninsulated and the cut is generous. I've worn these with just lightweight tights and with medium weight fleece pants on the cold days. It allows me to adjust to conditions. The hems are reinforced and the boot gaiters work great with my boots which have quick laces. Not sure how well you hook on if you are using BOAs. I haven't had any issues with leaks, even sitting in spring slushy snow. So far they are waterproof as advertised. For a non-GoreTex bib, this is probably the best bang for your buck. I'm 69", 160#, 32" waist, 32" inseam, and am rockin' a medium in copper.

As I've gotten older I've maintained my snowboarding skills but have a beer gut to deal with now. That meant finding some new pants or a bib. I tried on a few things and ended up keeping this bib. It's loose enough around the waste without it feeling baggy and it has a medium leg fit so it's not ultra baggy there, either, while also not being overly tight. It works as advertised. I do like that in a bib I don't need to tuck in my jacket and can throw it on quickly and still not get snow in my clothes during the occasional fall. I thought all of the material would be heavy but the weight distribution works well so I don't feel like it's all hanging off my shoulders. Provides great range of movement. Moderately stylish and my only complaint might be that there's TOO ... MoreAs I've gotten older I've maintained my snowboarding skills but have a beer gut to deal with now. Technically awesome. Waterproof and warm. Plenty of room to get them on with base layer underneath. I have big thighs and a big butt (5'11 175lbs) and normally wear 34/32 pants. Straps adjust easily. Chest pockets are nice, especially since my matching jacket doesn't have inside pockets. One complaint is the hip pockets are about an inch too low at the top. Hard to get your hands into. Appears they put them there to accommodate the belt line, which seems unnecessary with bibs. I find these pockets hard to access and awkward. Also having to do with the midline construction, these puff out a little awkwardly in the crotch/belly region. These are my first bibs so maybe that's normal? In all they are cozy and kept me dry for 3+ hours in sleet, so they get the job done.

Good option if you want a slender feel. They are very comfortable but not very insulated. Enough space to wear some thermal underwear if needed and still have maneuverability. Easy to adjust the shoulders. And with the zippers easy to get out of. Nice high back, so no worrying about snow getting in if you out powder hunting. Definitely worth the money.
I'm 5'11 170 lbs and the medium fits perfect. It appears well made but the pockets on the side are vertical which makes me worried things will fall out. The price was too good to pass up so I bought a gray and black each. The gray is darker almost bluish in color. Will see how they last in the upcoming season.
1 Day. 1 Day at JHMR. That's all these lasted. Purchased these specifically for the trip and thankfully packed my 10 year old Spyder bib just in case.If you're ripping groomed resort runs pre-beers, these are for you. They look and feel great. If you're doing anything wild, get real bibs and save your money. I haven't been this disappointed in gear in years and I won't ever buy anything Volcom again.
Hopefully this review will save someone some money. Firstly, these pants are super baggy, which is great if you want that. The mediums are huge and i ended up exchanging for small. These pants ripped after 5 days of normal use. The crotch completely blew out and the pocket started to rip. Ive tried to get a refund/ exchange it with Volcom but have no response. Ive gotten more days out of 60$ pants than these dumpers
These are solid pants. Super breathable, very comfortable, lots of room for movement. I'm 5'9" 155 lbs and bought a size small, they fit really well. Thigh vents are awesome, very easy to open and close. They're is also super durable, I've had a couple close encounters with trees this year that I though for sure would have cause a rip, but so far these pants are still in one piece. The ziptech is a nice feature (only used it on deep powder days), it's easy enough to zip and unzip, but with bibs feels unnecessary most days. Only real complaint (and it's minor) is the leg opening has this weird semi-structured ring that I have to take an extra second to orient when I'm getting into my bindings. Overall, super solid pants, probably going to upgrade to the gore-tex ... MoreThese are solid pants. Super breathable, very comfortable, lots of room for movement. Great bib. I like the chest pockets and the leg vents are a nice feature. Only downsides are the shoulder straps being Velcro may not hold up for as long as one that uses a buckle. As well the side pockets zip up to open which makes me feel more vulnerable to my phone falling out when opening on the chairlift. My past bib had the zippers open down and that small detail made it feel more secure.
It was pretty nice, true to size and the adjustable Velcro straps were helpful, and the pockets were a plus, the front pouch was a hit. Was able to put everything in there rather than the pockets and even zip them up. Not too bulky and ease of access to the groin zipper. Didn't fall too much but even then I didn't have much snow down my pants. So everything was dry !!Don't let me forget about the airflow on the legs, that was very nice, very helpful not over heating.
