Biggest complaint is the fly zipper is too small for my bare man hands to reach through for my junk. So I have to half undress to urinate, which is a huge inconvenience. Basically I'm unable to use the fly zipper as intended because my hands are of average men's size. This is a huge failure in design, in my opinion. My suggestion to designer .. is ditch the little diamond stud at the belt and exaggerate the fly zipper a bit, up and through the belt zone, and/or maybe the fly zipper can also start lower. Also please test this feature. Have a man with average or large hands test the fly zipper.Almost everything else about this item is incredible. I can see allot of thought and engineering went into many of the features. My body type is more tall and thin, than big ... If there were specialty sizes such as:Large & ThinLarge & RegularLarge & Widethen I'd be willing to spend more for Large & Thin, since it could fit better. At the feet, the inner gaiters diameter and elastic diameter could be reduced a little. After all only my feet need to get thru it. The outer layer diameter is perfect; don't change that. Also, anywhere you use velcro, I'd place a few more so that people have to option to wear it tighter.Overall (lol, pun), you've done an amazing job with this item, so well done. I hope it gets even better.I look forward to seeing an improvement in the fly. Thanks

As I've gotten older I've maintained my snowboarding skills but have a beer gut to deal with now. That meant finding some new pants or a bib. I tried on a few things and ended up keeping this bib. It's loose enough around the waste without it feeling baggy and it has a medium leg fit so it's not ultra baggy there, either, while also not being overly tight. It works as advertised. I do like that in a bib I don't need to tuck in my jacket and can throw it on quickly and still not get snow in my clothes during the occasional fall. I thought all of the material would be heavy but the weight distribution works well so I don't feel like it's all hanging off my shoulders. Provides great range of movement. Moderately stylish and my only complaint might be that there's TOO ... MoreAs I've gotten older I've maintained my snowboarding skills but have a beer gut to deal with now. Good option if you want a slender feel. They are very comfortable but not very insulated. Enough space to wear some thermal underwear if needed and still have maneuverability. Easy to adjust the shoulders. And with the zippers easy to get out of. Nice high back, so no worrying about snow getting in if you out powder hunting. Definitely worth the money.

I have being looking at this bib for a long time and I am glad I finally got them from Peter Glenn Ski & Sports. I couldn't have asked for a better price. This is the second time I have scored an amazing deal from Peter Glenn and I am happy. As always the shipping and processing from Peter Glen was a breeze. The product arrived on time. The bib is articulated fit. Not baggy. I am 6.3 ft /235 ibs and I ordered an XL. The bib ride a little bit high in the groin area. I wish the bib were a little bit roomy in the front, this will make it easier to wear my mid layer (arc'teryx atom LT) under the bib. I have big thighs and the bib fits them perfectly.Anyways, I am 90% happy with the bib and the deal I had for it, so I will keep it. Suggestion to anyone interested in ... Not very user friendly. I usually love Volcom gear because they think of everything however, the dropped the ball with these. No side zipper to allow easier on/off. No cargo pockets and not key lanyard. The chest pockets are ok but the front thigh pockets are small and oddly placed to hold any gear while ridding.I do not recommend these bibs.
I've ridden the Roan bibs for years, but wanted to step up to these due to the goretex. The fit of these are a bit off. I wore L in the Roans with plenty of room and range of motion, but needed to size up to XL in these because the seat and the front pockets were too constricting in L. The quality of the bibs are great- zippers, pulls, velcro, and pockets are all on point. A lot lighter in weight compared to the Roans too, which will be a lot better for touring. All in all, no complains, and stoked on how they ride.
These are solid pants. Super breathable, very comfortable, lots of room for movement. I'm 5'9" 155 lbs and bought a size small, they fit really well. Thigh vents are awesome, very easy to open and close. They're is also super durable, I've had a couple close encounters with trees this year that I though for sure would have cause a rip, but so far these pants are still in one piece. The ziptech is a nice feature (only used it on deep powder days), it's easy enough to zip and unzip, but with bibs feels unnecessary most days. Only real complaint (and it's minor) is the leg opening has this weird semi-structured ring that I have to take an extra second to orient when I'm getting into my bindings. Overall, super solid pants, probably going to upgrade to the gore-tex ... MoreThese are solid pants. Super breathable, very comfortable, lots of room for movement. I absolutely love these bib pants.Have only ridden with them once so far. In Vermont in wet but relatively warm conditions. they were waterproof but nicely breathable which is exactly what I was looking for. I really like shells as opposed to fully insulated pants because it allows me to layer to whatever the conditions throw at me.Size seems right on the money. I'm 5'-9" at 190 lbs and a 35" waist (yeah, I'm a chunky snowboarder who has yet to meet an IPA he doesnt like) and the large fit me fine, close fitting but not too snug and a good range of motion. plenty of room to layer up with a thicker base layer if needed.I will be taking it out to the powder in Whistler BC at the end of January where I expect the 'zip-tech' will really shine and thats the primary ... This product is great! No longer are the days that my butt is wet after sitting in the chairlift during a snowy day. Since getting these bibs my hurt has been dry and my body warm. This is a great bib that works great during both warm and colder weather. During a warmer day I just have a long sleeve or hoodie under these bibs. My legs run a little warm but nothing unbearable. On colder days these excel even more. They are super warm and all jacket fit super well over them. Plus if you have a Volcom jacket they zip in the back to connect the big and jacket. There is no scarcity of pockets either. Get these bibs and you will never look back.
upgraded from the 686 smarty pants to these. the waist is much smaller on the bibs compared to the 686 smarty pants. i would get the 2xl if ordering again, 36 inch waist and 6'2". also less pockets on the bibs compared to the smarty pants. the waterproofing seems pretty good for the first time out in which we experienced rain/snow. these are not insulated so be prepared with layers!
