When I purchased my first heater it was great, then after a few months it just stopped working. Then I just purchased a new one in 10/2021, this one had a bad stench coming from it. It smelt like a fish market. I returned it and did an exchange and received the last one. Unfortunately, this one had a very loud noise that you would here when the unit is turned on. It was quiet on the first day then by the second day it was loud. I think I am done with Vornado.

I needed a heater for our unheated 'Florida room'. I have a parrot and wanted to put his cage in there where it was easier to clean up his mess, but there was no heat. I bought this heater and wasn't sure it would be enough heat to keep our bird warm, but to my surprise it is working very well!!I am happy I can keep him in the sun room and he is warm!! Thinking about buying a spare, just so we have a 'back up' heater!!!I really love Vornado products!! I have several of their fans and this heater did NOT disappoint!

Advertised as a Whole Room Heater gives one the impression of a powerful, efficient unit. Unfortunately, the performance is such that it could only heat up a very small Whole Room. I have had better results from a Cheap fan heater purchased at Bunnings. The product looks good, but its performance is lacking .
Received this to replace another brand name fireplace/heater that quit only after one year because this had a 5 year warranty. It does provide some warmth but not enough to warm up a small room, especially for the colder winter climate in the Adirondacks. I cannot run it long enough without the power cord becoming hot, usually about one hour before having to turn it off to cool down so it really doesn't have much to offer as far as a heating source . I would not recommend this product as a viable, safe heating source.
I was using this heater for my living room as it was advertised it can heat up a large room and it didn't do the job! The fan is not strong at all and the air it blows is not hot, it's warm. After 2 weeks of use last night the fan died and I am returning it today.
Study built, energy economic, excellent Heater for full room. Have been able to run this Heater in Low (750watt) mode most of the time and keep warm a medium sized room. Better results than my previous ceramic 2400watt heater which used a LOT more electricity, and was only effective sat right next to me (worse airflow and heating performance by a mile). This is a solid unit, whisper quiet, and the specially designed air propulsion fan design works quite well. A good investment (and a saving on electricity bills over winter!)
I really like this heater. It’s sturdy, quiet and cool to touch. It heats a medium size room fine as long as you keep the door closed. I would have bought a second one if it did the job in my living room. It’s not that big but has high ceilings and is drafty. If they were a reasonable price I would have. Geez we get ripped off in Oz!
Second purchase of this model. Owned the first for approximately two years to heat a rather drafty, 300sf bedroom in a 100+ year old house. Used almost daily, and never had an issue with output and consistency until it recently stopped working. Prefer the 300 model over the newer units due to a personal preference for analog over digital readings, as well as the placement of the readings on the newer models. Unit is relatively quiet for its output, with a commonsense design. Highly recommend.
Ordered 2 as gift for children's bedrooms. Daughter-in-law reported one stopped working after 1 week. Light would turn on showing power to unit but it didn't turn on fan or heat. Electrician told her to vacuum the back vent. She did that and it started working. She did report the heat and thermostat setting is a nice feature, thus why gave a 3. Hopefully we'll be happier as time goes on.
