Vortex 10x32 Diamondback HD Binoculars

The Vortex Diamondback HD 10x32 are ideal binoculars hunters and travelers. The HD glass provides an optimized image with a high resolution. This way, the colors remain lifelike and the image is sharp from left to right without chromatic aberrations. These binoculars have a field of view of 113m, so you can easily track moving objects. A distant object is magnified up to 10 times. This way, you can observe a deer as if you're standing next to it. And you can easily focus on closer objects with the close focus of 1.8m. The anti-glare coatings reduce reflections. This ensures you still have a clear view in sunlight.

I bought these as a lightweight backup for when my Zeiss Conquest HD 10X42 binoculars are too large or heavy, of when traveling. These are small, light, and great for bicycling trips and inconspicuous carry, but have a decent 32mm objective for use in woods or less light. They are perfect fro under an outer shirt carry when fishing.Pluses: Great grip texture; light weight; sharp resolution; great comfortable neck strap; twist-up eye pieces instead of the folding type that get hard and tear.Minuses: Objective lens covers that come loose in use or when removing the binocular from its carry case. Fortunately they remain attached to the body, but I may just take them off; at times the focus is a bit fast and takes fine adjusting. Very, very good value at this price point.

The Vortex Diamondback 10x32 optics are very clear and easy to adjust for focus. I purchased these to use on a cruise to Alaska, but have been wanting a good mid-sized pair of binoculars for hunting. For my purposes, I can't justify spending 2x as much for optics. I have always been pleased with the other Vortex products I own, and am equally pleased with these.

I ordered these binoculars in 8x32 for my 5 year old son. I wanted something that could easily be replaced if he (or one of the younger ones) broke them without having to spend a huge amount at this stage. Vortex's warranty, the size of these, and the cost made these binoculars stand out. I wasn't expecting them to be the greatest but figured they'd be better than what he was using. I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. When comparing them with my Swarovski SLCs, they are not as good, but they are much closer than I would've expected them to be. Makes me wonder if I should really be spending as much as I have for binoculars. For the low cost of these, I would definitely recommend them. I also really enjoy the 8x32 size. Very nice for handholding and very compact. Only negative is that 8x makes it a little difficult to see exactly what I'm looking at for long distances. Testing these out, I was able to identify a tiny buck at about 800 yards, but overall I prefer 10x or 12x binos for myself.

Great quality product
22 October 2021

I've got this Vortex binocular 10x32 by online order, and I was a little bit surprised (positively) that it appeared to be Diamondback HD instead of plain Diamondback as advertised. HD is an improved version, so that was nice.Overall, it exceeded my expectations. Exceptional quality of optics delivers a very sharp picture. Compact size dimensions makes it to be a good watching device on hiking or another kind of outdoors activity which requires some workout, when size and weight matters.Looks and feels pretty much solid and sturdy. Will see how durable is it over some time...

I own and regularly use other higher-end optics. More and more, I purchase and use Vortex. These binoculars, though relatively less-expensive, are clearly on a par with more expensive ones I own. These will be my “go-to’s” for hiking and predator hunting. Small and lightweight, they are clear and sharp. The only drawback is my wife likes them so much, I’ll have get her a pair now😎.

IMO, Vortex 10x32 beats other high-end contenders in the 10x/light-weight category.
24 May 2022

I compared the Vortex Diamondback 10x32 with 3 other high-end, light-weight binoculars that are in the 10x30/16-18 oz category, the least expensive being the Vortex and the other 3 ranging from $100 to $ 200 more expensive, with the most expensive costing around $1,200. While two contenders did ever so slightly better on the eye chart comparison, the Vortex did better in most other categories: field of view (tied with one), brightness of view, hand-held weight, comfort rest on the chest/abdomen/neck, eye comfort, price, and warranty. My only complaint is that in certain conditions there is some reflection at the outer rim of the view, but this is a minor distraction that can be ignored. At the end of the day, the Vortex is the best overall in the 10x30/16-18 oz category. It also happens to be the least expensive with a life-time warranty that can't be beat. Even when comparing them with my high-end 10x42, this Vortex wins overall!

We recently took up hiking during the pandemic that kept us closer to home. I researched online but didn't want to make this purchase without putting them up to my eyes. I was fed up with other things I owned being disposable as the manufacturers don't warranty or support after a handful of years. I have a Vortex riflescope so was aware of that lifetime warranty. That steered me to Vortex after looking at some of the other brands. And it's not just about the warranty because the quality and care put into this product is amazing. I am very fussy and even pick apart the little flaws of some of the best brands. The binoculars exceed my expectations of optical clarity, brightness, and ease of use. I always had to pack the bigger oldies we had, so I appreciate the smaller size and weight in my day pack. That said they still outperform our older full size pairs. If I had to fuss about anything it would be that the hard case they come with is pretty much useless. You would slip the bino's into a pouch in your pack-sack or hang them around your neck. Without my day-pack I have used a small Lowepro camera pouch on a belt loop or chest harness. You wouldn't likely put them in the hard case that hangs from a shoulder strap. Vortex and other companies do sell a dedicated bino chest bag/harness separately. In conclusion, I am a very fussy, careful shopper that often returns items not up to my standard. But these 10x32's are keepers. Expecting them to hike with us for many years to come.

Diopter adjustment was froze, making me think it was in the box a long time, not a newly manufactured pair. Chatted w Vortex rep(He was excellent). Ended up with a light amount of lubricant(wax based) and pliers to get it turning! Hopefully it will remain operable? Should not have happened ever!. Only time will tell. Not Swarovski, but I expected more. Lifelong hunter and Cabela’s customer, 60 years plus

Nice Close-Focus Bino's
31 August 2021

Terrific set of binoculars. Was looking for something substantial (not a $25 pair) that featured a Close Focus of less than 10' . . this one is 6-feet. Terrific for sitting on back porch and watching everything that moves/flies. Have another pair of older bino's that are 12x50. But close focus is like 18 or 20-feet. Not so great. OK if you are out on a hike, but that's about all. Vortex is very easy to use and very clear imaging! You won't be disappointed. May ditch the older 12x50 and get another Vortex (maybe 12-power). Looked at Bushnell . .but no close focus for less than 250 bucks. Similar models . . they gloss over fact that you cannot focus on anything closer than 20 or 25-feet.

Perfect for the Hunter on the move
6 November 2022

Exceptional clarity. These field glasses are light and compact as advertised. Perfect for the bow hunter, but also perfect for glassing the hillside and fields. This is the set of binoculars I've been looking for. And, the warranty is outstanding. First time out I lost a lense cover taking a shortcut through the thick stuff. The customer service department at Vortex was superb. I highly recommend this product, or any Vortex optic.
