The VX15 GT is an innovative approach to a flexible guitar amplifier. The amp is lightweight and powerful, and its sophisticated internal construction and ready-to-use modeling sounds provide a clear, powerful listening and playing experience. VOX has spent many years fine-tuning its modeling technology to deliver the finest sounds. The specially developed VET technology (Virtual Element Technology) stands for real sounds that are not just snapshots, but are based on the interaction of the component simulations that are important for the sound result. In addition to the classic AC30, this amp offers the sounds of the world's most popular tube amps, modern high-gain amps, and priceless boutique amps. A LINE model is also included so that other instruments can be amplified professionally. All effects that are essential for a rich sound are already integrated. Both effect categories - modulation and delay/reverb - contain four effects, one of which can be used at a time. A total of eight different combinations are available, making it easy to create a rich guitar sound. Thanks to the TAP button, parameters such as delay speed can be set intuitively. This amp weighs almost nothing, leading to the question of whether the VX15 GT can be a full guitar amp at all. Yes, it can. Its sealed ABS housing utilizes all the acoustic possibilities while suppressing unnecessary vibration. This interaction results in a clear and maximum projected sound experience. Its bass reflex construction also guarantees a rich bass range. In contrast to other mini amplifiers, you will be amazed at how full and loud it sounds. The transistor amplifier provides undistorted sound, even at high volumes. Additionally, it boasts a low energy requirement and lower weight compared to a tube amplifier.

Great quality amp. It’s super light which makes it easy to transport. Various effects work well and you can get pretty good volume for the size. It definitely exceeded my expectations

It has lots of good features and sounds well. 15 watts? It's about a half as loud as a certain American 12w "junior" valve combo. Also the proprietry Vox DC connector is sneaky, but it will work off a powerbank with a 12v step up - with a bit of cable cut and paste (well, cut and solder actually). Overall it does meet my needs for open air gigs on a powerbank: loud enough to monitor while I DI my pedalboard via a mixer output on a Digitec pedal. Even better with if it had its own rechargeable battery option.

I picked this up recently as I had traded away my Blackstar HT-1 in a local deal. I have been playing for 30 years and my other 2 amps are a Fender DRRI and a DSL40C. I must admit that this little beastie can do everything the Blackstar did plus a quite a few other things. Contrary to other opinions I thought the Blackstar good for two things...low volume clean playing and the emulated headphone out. This does both of those things as well as the Blackstar and has much better dirt...despite the lack of a tube. The bottoms line is I will pretty much solely be using this for late night practice so as not to wake the kids...so a good headphone out is essential and this has it. When I crank the power level on the heavier settings it feeds back wildly and that is a ... MoreI picked this up recently as I had traded away my Blackstar HT-1 in a local deal. Having owned a bunch of little 5 watt tube amps over the years I think I have found my late night amp. Tubes rule...but not in the basement at midnight.

The first thing I'll point out is the power supply that it came with sucks. Super noisy hum. But I didn't care because I bought this because it IS power by 12v. I use it as a traveling amp. It's so lightweight and I can plug it into the 12v system in my Suburban/camper or a small 12v rechargeable battery I have Velcro'ed to the back. On battery power it is really quiet. The amp itself is what you expect.. a good wide range of sounds and effects to have some fun with. I've had some really good musicians jam with it in some living room settings and comment that it's pretty darn good. So for the price you really can't go wrong. I would think you could find a better 12v plug in supply though.
I use this in my basement studio for playing and recording. It has a wide range of very cool sounds and what seems like countless options to combine them (from wild reverb/delay effects to overdrive/fuzz). It's kind of daunting to get a setting you like and remember how to get it again, because of all the combinations of setting options. This would be a great value in a small amp except for two things:1. Lots of extra noise and hiss (I checked and it wasn't the guitar or cables - I tried several)2. The "on-off" button doesn't always work when trying to turn it off. I usually have to unplug the 9V adapter that comes with the amp in order to turn it off.
I am a beginner at playing the guitar and needed a amp that would give me a few more options and sounds. This amp is great and has I improve with my playing it has enhanced my experience and spurs me on to get better. Sound quality is great and the options available for such a small amp is fantastic
I bought it for a friend that is in his seventies and has a bad back. It is the lightest amp I could find. Upon receiving the amp, I discovered not only is it light as a feather, it sounds great. It's loud enough to use with a drummer. It has several amp models to select from. It has some effects, Very good value for the money. It would be the perfect amp for a beginner also. The only thing that could make it better would be a normal power cord instead of a wall wart.
Very cool amp and a bargain at twice the price! Amp models are all very good just as is, and the added surprise is that - other than the most high gain settings - you can roll back your guitar volume and the sound cleans up nicely. This is a keeper!
Went for this Vox VX15 GT after checking several contenders reviews online. I've not had it for very long yet, but, so far, I'm delighted with my choice. It is very easy to dial up the sound that you want without having to programme everything from a computer or tablet! The Sound quality, at both low and high volume, is excellent - the base reflex works very well. I would certainly recommend this amp for practice right up to small gig.
this amp is great. it runs on 12v dc. i cut the ac adapter and tied a positive to the white line wire and negative to the other. pluged it into a car battery and it plays great. it is also so light. great for playing on the street. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
