I am so surprised at the vast array of features that this learning toy. It's got a time-feature for older kids. Its got the music for the youngest ones. Its got multiple phonics features, I.e. letter sound and recognition. My 14 month old and my 4 year old both love to play with this because it's got so many tiers to cater to different age/learning groups. So excited to have gotten this and could not be more impressed. Definitely a must buy. Plus its got handy dandy leaf feature that allows little hands to hold on to it and carry it around (or in the car).

I was so excited to get this for my 2 amd a half year old. We already recite our ABC's and go over numbers. I felt like this would definitely expand his knowledge. It is a very cute product and extremely durable. The downside for me is that the audio is not super clear. When sitting with my child, trying to get him associated with how each letter looks and whag sound they make, it is hard to distinguish what letter is being announced. B, P, D? M or N? Not distinguishable so we had to guess. Even with the volume all the way up, it was hard to guess correctly.

As an elementary school teacher, I can say I appreciate toys that are not only entertaining & engaging, but educational! I love that my kids (ages 2 & 4) think they are only playing, but really they are learning. This Learning Apple doesn’t have to only be used at home, you can bring it in the car to entertain your kids. This is also something I can have in my classroom for students that are struggling with their basic letters & sounds. This would make a great birthday or Christmas gift! Every family with young children should own one! Great quality, well made, and fun for everyone! We received this product for free in exchange for my unbiased opinion and review.

A toy that is fun as well as educational is a win-win for parents. My child has recently shown interest in alphabets, and I was looking for a toy that can help him in better understanding of alphabets. Vtech ABC learning Apple has everything for little kids. The red color apple shape looks nice and interesting. And addition of worm clock hand on the play clock is a cute addition. This learning apple has plenty of things to do. It has different learning levels which child can explore. We started with alphabet buttons and phonics world since we are working on letter recognition and sound. The other levels will be more useful for him as he grows up. His absolute favorite is Music festival, which plays different rhyme tunes and he likes watching the letters light up.
I got this for my little one to make learning fun and couldn’t be more pleased. As a new school year begins and she’s unable to return to preschool because of Covid-19, I wanted a variety of learning materials available to me to attract her attention when learning. I was drawn to the apple design and because it was travel friendly and easy to handle. We have currently only been using this apple to teach her patience before meal/snack time to occupy her mind while the meal is being prepared. It’s been working wonders! At 21 months old, she’s currently having fun learning how to navigate the apple and has mastered the ability to turn it on/off. She loves sliding the worm to play the songs and likes listening to the alphabet song. The clock is also great and will be a good tool for me to use when she’s a little older too. There are also activities to help with counting and visual cues for learning sequencing. Overall, this is a good educational toy for an early toddler and a great resource tool as they grow and learn more.

This VTech® Alphabet Apple™ far exceeded my expectations. There are so many wonderful ways for younger children to have fun while learning. Each interactive feature also helps to improve a child's manual dexterity & eye/hand coordination. The buttons are large enough that it's easy for small hands to press them. Not only does this Alphabet Apple teach a child to recognize the letters of the alphabet, it also teaches how to enunciate each letter and use them to spell words.Children can dance to pre-programmed music, while the lights on the buttons flash on & off.The smaller caterpillar triggers the voice to speak the hour when moved from one number to the next, teaching a child to tell time, while learning to identify numbers at the same time. There is a ... MoreThis VTech® Alphabet Apple™ far exceeded my expectations. There are so many wonderful ways for younger children to have fun while learning. I especially appreciate that if the wrong button is pressed in response to a question, the "voice" encourages the child to try again in a positive way. This VTech® Alphabet Apple™ would be a perfect gift for any young child, especially those living in bilingual households, where English is a second language. It runs on 2 AA batteries which are included. There is a timed automatic shut off feature which helps to preserve batteries when the child is no longer interacting with their Alphabet Apple.
I have 2 granddaughters , almost two and 3 and a half. They love this big red apple. It has been amazing watching them help each other learn the alphabet, spell words, identify letters and so much more. It has so many different games on it even I can't keep up, but it didn't take them long to figure them out. They will play school for hours, spelling and playing word games. In a few short weeks the have learned a lot. I like that the letters light up to help them but they also have to use their memory to remember what order they were in. So that helps not only their fine motor skills by pushing the buttons but it also helps develop their memory and reasoning skills. I highly recommend this to anyone with young children who are talking. It is never to early to start learning.
My toddler niece and nephew love this toy! It's full of buttons, lights, and sounds that they happily interact with and find very ! I like it because of the educational aspect - it's a fun way to teach them their ABC's and numbers. I also like the positive reinforcement given by the voice ('Good job'), and clapping when the child pushes the correct button, The apple is bright and cheery with fun graphics, and is the perfect size to sit on a toddler's lap. My nephew carries it around by the convenient handle and often drops it. So far, the apple is very durable and passes the test of a toddler boy's energy.
I received VTech Alphabet Apple to test. The toy is listed as having 8 learning activities for preschoolers that can teach them about animals, objects, words, sounds, letters, spelling and the concept of time. You can press the light up alphabet button to hear the 26 different sounds. There is a little clock with movable hand and you can easily take the toy on the go because it has a handle.I was hoping to have my 23-month-old daughter play with this toy to teach her the alphabet and sounds but she wasn't really interested. She mainly just wanted to push the buttons. I guess she isn't ready yet but I will keep trying. So then, I had my 5 years old daughter play with it. As she was playing with it, she said that its really cool. She really enjoyed the games that are on the toy. She likes to quiz herself and play the follow the light game. I think after playing with the alphabet apple for a couple of weeks, she will be able figure out and understand sounds and letters better.
