Positives: like the two way talking feature and the night light.Negatives: some of the functions don't seem to work, like being able to adjust the temperature settings. It also loses signal sometimes - it comes back again quickly but we never have this issue with our other monitor.One to consider: it doesn't transmit sound consistently. Instead it seems to be triggered by noise. For example I hear my daughter cough from downstairs and then the monitor starts playing sound until she goes quiet. This is fine for us, but was a bit unsettling at first - our other monitor transmits consistently, which you may prefer.
We bought this for using with an older family member who needed round the clock care. We also found that noise wasn't consistent and as mentioned previously only kicked in when triggered by a noise. This meant I for one, couldn't settle as I was paranoid I wouldn't hear him try to get up or call out. I wouldn't recommend this at all for baby or any other use!
Great purchase for an audio device. Works upstairs to downstairs with doors closed and no loss of signal.

I bought this for my son.who is disabled so I could talk to him without getting out of bed. Very easy to use.has a very useful nightlight. Like to be able to see the temperature in the room but doesn't keep bleeping like my old one did if it reached a certain temperature. Also a very good price.
