We got this as a extra present for both our boys 10 and 5. It has been the star present can't recommend it enough. The Bluetooth we did have YouTube how to connect as little tricky but once connected works brilliant and they are mixing songs with beats it's fantastic and really can't believe how popular it is I r house . If I was to be really picky the only thing I would say would be much better if could charge it just with it getting so much use can see us going through quite a lot of batteries. Would recommend changing batteries straight away and YouTube how to connect if your struggling with the Bluetooth connection super easy once you do it once

Pros: Loved by both the adults and children in our household. Our 5 year old knows how to use it but equally, I could see a 12 year old enjoying this. I've caught my husband playing on it when the kids have gone to bed.You can connect it to Bluetooth to mix existing songs in the charts or make your own mixes with sound recordings of your own. The learning mode teaches children to hear and follow a beat to develop their musical skills.The disco lights are also endless amounts of fun for parties and I see this being a gift that lasts and stands the test of time.Cons: Batteries have already gone but then again, it's been played with on and off all day for the last two days. We use rechargeable batteries for this reason but it did come with batteries.

Pros: Bought for a 7 year old, but then the 17 year old loved it and wants one now and adults alike enjoyed playing with it. Good range of music and sounds to mix in and the added effect of the disco light makes it really entertaining and enjoyable.Cons: Quick to drain batteries. Takes 3x C batteries, put in Christmas Day, by the end of Boxing Day they were flat.No instructions on the Bluetooth function, able to pair phone but cannot work out how to get music to play on the mixer.

My son got this for his 7th birthday and it's been great. Hours of fun. You can get them to use headphones, otherwise it can be noisy. Great for a party in the kitchen though! I'm sure there's so much that can be done with this over the coming years. Only complaint is that there are no 'real' instructions in the box and no link to them but if you Google it you can find a manual.

Fantastic toy with lots of functions and samples. Volume is perfect for our children to practice and enjoy their own party (without damaging their hearing). Very robust too. Linking it to our devices via Bluetooth is fantastic allowing our daughters to choose their own DJ sets.
Purchased for my 6 year old son in his birthday. He's played it almost every day since, and for at least an hour each time. His brothers also play with it a lot.There's enough variation of sound options to keep their brains learning about rythyms, styles and tempos. We'll worth the price we paid.
Bought this for my son for Christmas and he absolutely loves it, comes with different beats on the drum pad and can also record your voice for added effects. Connect through Bluetooth and they can mix and scratch their favourite song! With its own disco ball as well it is the prefect set up for your child to get the party started! I honestly wish they had something like this when I was a kid!!
