I bought this for my 2 kids for Christmas, ages 5 and almost 3. They've played with this set for almost 2 days straight now. It's pretty easy to set up, instructions are very detailed and easy to understand, but I do wish the pieces fit together tighter. It's VERY easy for my kids to deconstruct.... or for pieces to fall off/fall over just by gently tapping them. I say this toy is a total win though, as it keeps the kids busy for HOURS at a time and isn't noisy! Yes, there's a lot of pieces but if you can manage to get your kids to keep it together then you don't have to worry about pieces being scattered about your house. And it should go without saying, but please keep an eye on your kiddos as the marbles are the perfect choking hazard.

This marble run barely made it out of the box without my kids rushing to build things while it’s still wrapped in plastic. In other words, they loved it! I love it, too. The building is complex enough to engage my 7YO’s brain and the pieces are just the right size for my 4YO’s hand. The instructions have three designs varying in difficulty. My 7YO completed that maze with little difficulty. I helped her do the second level difficulty and had to do the third level on my own, not that I’m complaining. Overall, 10/10!

This is a great toy and activity for little ones to challenge their thinking and building skills. Helps to create some good hand and eye coordination as you have to follow instructions and assemble. Then you can watch the motion of the marbles flow through the path and it is a proud accomplishment moment. This has been a fun toy in our household as my 8 year old girl has loved the challenge of building it. Then she gets so much joy from watching the marbles move and go down different paths.As a parent this is a welcome activity for a hands on toy that is engaging and allows for teamwork. As an adult I was finding joy in watching the build and even playing with the marbles myself and spending that family time with my little one.

My 6 year old loves this marble run set. The pieces are bigger (as opposed to other sets we’ve had in the past), durable, and enough to make a really big track! My son likes to make his own, so no directions needed and he likes to make it so that multiple different tracks can go at the same time. We both love the fact that it comes with electric pieces as it adds to the fun, and I was happy that they all came with batteries, ready to go! The only downside we’ve had is that sometimes the marbles stop moving somewhere along the track you wouldn’t expect them to. Otherwise, love this!
This toy is a lot of fun. The surfaces are very smooth, and allow the marble to gain lots of momentum. After 4 months are we are still finding different ways to make towers and combinations of runs.The pieces have one drawback. Some of them only work in one direction. It would be nice if they made the same pieces in left and right hand combinations. Sure you can use other pieces, but at the end of a long run sometimes you need a drop to gain speed, and your only option is turn turn left and drop.We went back to the store and bought another kit to build bigger.My 3 year old is now building by himself.

Seems I was missing one piece and that was the shield that attaches to the green piece that catches the marble when using the cannon launcher. Instructions were easy to follow and helped that the pieces and the pages in the manual were in color. I also brought the instructions up on-line so I could zoom in.Before I started construction I bought a pre-cut 24 by 24 inch piece of plywood to build this on so it could be moved out of the way when not in use or carry it to another room. I purchased this to use as part of our K-12 Learning Common's Maker Space sessions. Kids from Kinder up to 12 all have had a turn at building and using this marble run. They love it! It's easy to put together as the instructions are clear - and its fun to customize. I hope to purchase an additinal one to add. Parts were all there and its a fairly sturdy structure. No complaints. A great addition to our S.T.E.M. activities.
My daughter really wanted a marble run, and after sifting through the options this seemed like the best blend of functionality, durability and cost. My daughter was mesmerized by this for hours upon hours after Christmas. It was easily her most played with toy in the days following the holiday. It’s not perfect, and sometimes it falls apart or marbles get stuck, but that is true of all marble runs. The rest of our kids loved this as well and it has a really great age range with the build-ability factor too. Personally I think this is one of the very best marble runs available, especially considering the price.
An excellent playset. This VTech Marble Rush Ultimate Set creates hours of fun. My 4 year old is amazed every time he plays with it! Instructions and assembly are easy but we did have to help assemble. Love the musical light show and that the ferris wheel spins. Quality is exceptional. We have done many different setups with every one being just as much fun. As always extremely pleased with VTech products.
We love VTech toys! My oldest daughter is 11 and our VTech brand toys still work with my youngest today, who is two. They last for years! This toy entertains my older kids as well. You can build it so many different ways. They help the younger kids put it together. I actually think this is MUCH better quality than the old school traditional marble run. We ended up throwing the only one away and just using this one!
