My 5 year old LOVES this!! It is fairly complex, which, in many ways is excellent as she is learning fast and it keeps it exciting for her as she discovers new features and things to do. Definitely recommend.

My two niece's absolutely loved these. SECRET diary that no-one can access!! They could use the diaries straight out of the box (being of the young tech generation) and the V-tech diary talked them through each step.Selfies, with silly hats superimposed onto family members produced the most hilarity.
I brought 3 of these diary's for my granddaughters, not knowing if it was something they wanted. Well on Christmas Day I had 3 very happy girls loving their present. They told me they were the best thing ever and I was the best nanny ever.

A good stop before buying the kids iPads. Purchased for a long airplane ride which seemed to do the trick. Great features and kept the kids entertained.
My daughter loved this at Christmas. But sometimes mid game it will just switch off-even with fresh batteries. Sometimes it doesn't turn on. It's a frustrating toy- meaning since Christmas it's barely been played with.
I bought this for my 6 year old for her birthday. Absolutely loves it as does her younger sister. Face recognition doesn’t always work though and the pin has to be used to open it
I purchased this for Christmas for my 5yo daughter and its great! There are games, simple math and spelling, QWERTY keyboard and a unicorn to look after. There is also a picture editor. Battery has good life too. Would recommend to anyone looking to avoid tablets screens
