There's a reason this is half the price of similar items. The car moves so slowly down the track that it gets stuck almost every time. The trap door is too small for the car to actually fall through. The car never makes it to the finish line spot because the turn on the final piece is too sharp, and the car just slows to a stop. Seriously, even if we give it a good push so it has a lot of speed, the car will never make that turn. We're very handy people, so I don't think there's an issue with the way we assembled it. We rearranged the track pieces in every configuration and we still can't get the car to drive down consistently. Our 1 year old and 3 year old love playing with the car, but neither one of them cares about using the track because it simply doesn't work, and it's sooooo boringly slow.

This is a fun toy that has received plenty of use from all three of my kids - ages 4, 2, and 1. Assembly took about 20 minutes and was a bit of a pain, as there were many pieces to put together and quite a few stickers to apply. It's a nice concept that the ramps can be set up in two different positions, giving some variety in play. It is a pain to switch between the two options though, and is something a grownup will need to help with.Once set up, the race track is very fast and fun for all ages, and the noises the car make add a nice touch. It's convenient that there is a stopper at the top of the ramp, so that the car doesn't automatically slide down on its own. My other complaint is that there are some pieces that are unnecessarily removable, such as the helicopter, start sign, and trophy. My kids are constantly taking them off and putting them in random rooms of the house, where I would just prefer for them to stay attached.While this toy isn't perfect, it is fun and has led to hours of play for my children.

Bought this for our nearly 4 yr old. We wanted something that doesn't take up a lot of space and can be configured horizontally as well as vertically.Our little one has been playing with it non-stop for over a week. It works with different types of cars, including Hot Wheels and Green Toys.My only complaint is you have to take it apart to reconfigure it. It's probably not worth the effort to do it more than once in a while.
