At the moment I am not 100% sure that the Minipresso NS is up to job of delivering a good cup of coffee to my tasteI think I may have been thinking that to be able to produce a proper cup of coffee on the move in our campervan would be great but so far all I am getting is a warm cup of milk with a slight taste of coffeeI purchased the Minipresso pods for your machine and have followed the instructions to the letter but when pumping the plunger as instructed all I get out of the bottom of the machine is a very weak brewWhen I look at the picture on the front of the box at the lovely creamy brew I have to wonder if I am doing something wrong

This espressso maker uses a classic Nespresso capsule and hot water to make a beautiful crema. The side pump may seem of,f, but as long as you are willing to hold the Minipresso in your hand as you pump it would ks very well. The little orange plugs inside sometimes come out, but they can easily be pushed back in and it does not appear to affect function. I turned them around (little hole visible) and they seem to stay better that way. Makes my mornings so good!!

Great product. Easy to use and easy to clean. Coffee is not quite as strong as an at home 14bar machine (as you would expect) but still way better than alternative coffee making methods when traveling. Some have said that the out put was small / I thought that the one shot was fine but if you need more, you can always add water a second time and pump through again. I’m very impressed!

I have bought two of these now. First one was several years back and although I love the concept and it made a decent espresso, it broke within about 20 uses. Wouldn’t seal and leaked water everywhere. This March I decide to give it a go again with a Minipresso GR hoping they fixed their bugs and we’d be able to have cheap coffee again. Nope. Broke with about 20 uses again, this time one of the stainless steal filters completely blew off during normal use. Can’t get it back on. I wish there were at least replacement parts you could buy to make it a cheaper fix than just replacing a $50 machine every time one of the parts blows.
I bought a Wacaco minipresso after trying my friend's one in camping. I was already really impressed then but now that I have mine, I love it even more. Very compact and quite light for hiking, very time and energy efficient for camping. I personally even use it at home sometimes when I feel like a quick and easy espresso shot. Simple and fast to use. I didn't want to buy the one that needed capsules, as sustainability and minimal waste are part of my lifestyle. When Wacaco got the model with a reusable capsule to fill with grounded coffee, I jumped on it and I don't regret it. I recommend!

I have a fully awesome Jura machine at home and this fills the gap whilst out camping. I like the design, how everything fits inside this little 'capsule' including it's espresso cup.The preparation is extremely logical.Unscrew water compartment, remove cup, unscrew the filter basket. Use a LEVEL scoop, scrape it level with a paddle pop stick. Put the filter basket on top of the coffee scoop, then flip 180 degrees. Use the scoop as a tamper now. Dust off the excess coffee from the filter basket seal if there is any. With the filter basket in hand, take the end cap and place it ... I was initially blown away by this little device and amazed I could make such good coffee. However that didnt last long as the device was cheaply made to poor tolerances and started to leak boiling water when it in use. Replacing seals didnt help.I recall emailing support asking and didn't get any response. Buy with caution is my advice. It really works but it won't last long even though I only used occasionally on weekends when out and about.
The unit is very compact and well built. Originally I tried to use it with Nespresso comparable capsules (L'Or) and not the original brand, which didn't work at all and just produced brown water. So I tried it with the original Nespresso capsules instead and other brands of NS comparable capsules and then it worked very well and produced great crema and coffee. I'm happy with the product and now need to figure out how to best produce frothy milk when camping to add to the experience.
I was given this several years ago along with the larger water tank to use on holidays. It doesn't get much use but is a great product generally. The larger water tank never ******* on securely resulting in leaking scalding water over my hand. I contacted Wacaco about this issue and never got a response (very disappointing). However I continued using it with the small original water tank and it worked well until my latest holiday when the small metal part that pierces the capsule came out with the capsule. I can't get it to stay in now so not sure if it is now a lost cause. I don't see much point in contacting the company after my last experience of receiving no reply.
