I bought this for my little one as she loves watching it on tv.The toy is good, he woofs and also plays the theme tune which my little one knew who the dog where soon as it played.Only down side is the dog is quite small. When reading the previous review it did state it was small but didn’t think it was smoking to be that small but nevertheless it’s pleased my little one.

Very disappointing. I ordered online so when it came it was much smaller than I expected it to be for the price. It also only says 4 different things and that’s it- two of which I can’t even tell what it is saying. Very overpriced for what it actually does.

I bought this waffle dog for my daughters birthday she loves it but the sound went 3 days after purchasing.The dog said it had a long battery life and that you could not replace the batteries.Surely it should of lasted more than 3 days.I'm not returning as my daughter has become attached to it and I don't want to upset her.I just thought people who buy this dog realise the batteries are not that good and can not be replaced.
I am very disappointed in the dog, it was for my daughter's birthday. Its my daughter's favourate programme she loves it so much. When you press his paw waffle only woofs quietly and doesn't say anything else as I think it is running out of battery. We have been told to take it back to the shop so they can check it and refund it but it is 35 minutes away that's why we had it delieved. only to be refunded as there is no other dogs till January. We pre ordered it as soon as it came out so we habe one disappointed child now.
I bought this for my 19 month old grandson who loves Waffle Dog. He played with it for a day before it stopped working and there is no way of changing the batteries as it’s all stitched together. I would NOT recommend this product as it’s a complete waste of money. I now have a very disappointed little boy!
I was lucky enough to be able to buy this for my granddaughter for Christmas. She absolutely loves it and enjoys singing along with Waffle Dog. However, that said the dog has lost some of its fur as there seemed to shed it so easily to begin with. Also the batteries can’t be replaced and according to the box they should last six months but with regular use I doubt they will last that long. Also on the bottom of the box it came in there was no lettering of authenticity to say it was a trademark of a company just the obligatory letters CE which left me wondering if it was from untrusted sources.
Much smaller than I thought it would be. Sheds very easily. Sounds Ok, doesn't play whole theme tune which is mentioned in the description. Our 2 1/2 year old likes it but doesn't use sounds that much now the novelty has worn off.i think it's a little overpriced, your paying for the name, which is fine if you have a waffle fan, but we have a better quality waffle spitting double teddy and the little one loves both and I think I jumped on band wagon with this one.
Recently purchased Waffle the Wonder Dog for my 2 year old grandson.Seems strange to me this item is fitted with NON REPLACEABLE batteries in these times of other manufacturers enabling the replacement of batteries. Surely a retailer like Smyth's should look carefully at matters like this so as to extend the life of similar items, I feel that Waffle will be a 'stray' before the end of January as the fitted power pack will have died.
I ordered the Waffles dog for fun. My Teddy was called Waffles throughout the Summer by many children. Had to check him out. The dog arrived and I took him to the care home we visit weekly. Teddy is a PAT ( Pets as therapy) . The residents loved the Waffles dog. Their names and interaction was with every penny. One good purchase.
