From a professional Painter & Decorator with over 12 years experience i can confidently say this is a great sprayer for the money.Easy to clean & can get a good finish to both walls & woodwork with the included tips. Just have to play around with paint thinning & pressure to achieve sublime results.

Brilliant

Wish I’d bought one of these years ago, I used it to mist coat then two coats of emulsion on every wall and ceiling of a house I’ve built. The machine is surprisingly powerful for its size, super long hose is the perfect length to get all parts of a large room without having to drag the pump around, I even had the pump outside the rooms I’ve been doing so it didn’t get covered in paint dust, cleaning is easy once you’re comfortable with simple process, an all round good but that has saved me loads of time, effort and money plus the bonus of having that professional finished look. Fantastic Product

Ignore the 1 star review, this paint sprayer is brilliant! The instructions to work it can be a bit confusing, but watch the video from Wagner (it’s the 250/350m, by the process is still the same) and it’ll be clearer.I managed to paint 2 5mx4m rooms, including ceilings in just under an hour and it was the first time I’d used one. Results were great!Save yourself some time and buy it, it’s worth the money!

Great Sprayer

Great little sprayer, i've done 2 houses so far with it, 1 day to sand and prep the house, 2nd day to undercoat doors, skirting and mist coat the walls, 3 day to emulsion walls. Saves alot of time and hassle. Better once you get used to the cleaning out with 2 buckets etc. Lovely finish on it shows up the plasterers bad work nicely, we just white emulsion walls and ceiling, no cutting in nice and easy. only been using water based undercoat and emulsion, don't know how I feels about putting solvent through it maybe I'll get a hand held one for that there cheap enough.

Great time-saving unit, but allow plenty of time for cleanup!

We bought this unit to paint some Suffolk barns with Bedec Barn Paint (which is pretty viscous, when compared to the mainstream shed and fence paints you'll find in B&Q). Masking up took a long time, as it needed to be better than when painting with brushes and rollers alone. However, this was more than compensated for by the speed with which we were able to spray everything. Areas that had previously taken a week with brushes were finished in less than a day - allowing us to go around the entire property twice in a working week (once with 30% dilution and once with 15%). Conditions were warm and dry, and not too windy, which seemed ideal to us. It's a nice touch that there's a face mask in the box.Clean up of the unit was pretty tedious, but we're not certain what Wagner could do to improve that. They could however at least use materials that didn't show signs of surface rust on the FIRST DAY after cleaning - which affected screws on the spray gun and some of the hose clamps.The hose length - at 9m - worked well for us and enabled the unit and paint tin to remain on the ground, even when we were working on eaves and gable ends. The main unit has a handy storage area on the top, which was handy for spare nozzles, dust caps and spanners. However, there's nowhere on the unit to hang the spray gun when not actively in use, to keep it out of the dust and dirt. You may also need to be creative to keep the intake and return hoses vertical in smaller paint tins, as they tend to flop over and start sucking in air as the paint gets low. That was less of an issue when using 20 litre tins, which the hoses accommodated just fine.We're more than happy to confirm that our choice of paint worked brilliantly with this sprayer, and that spraying saved us an enormous amount of time and produced excellent results; so on those grounds we're happy to recommend the Wagner 250R. Just watch out for those rusty screws and clamps!

Wagner Control Pro 250R Airless Sprayer 550W 240V

Excellent sprayer, took a little time 10 mins to get used to but works brilliantly. Covers large areas particularly ceilings very quickly. You have to mask anything that you don’t want to paint, which can take some time but overall worthwhile. Gives a great finish.

It’s a capable machine.Read the instructions thoroughly though, very important to prime it correctly, or it’ll be a nightmare.Large areas, have a second man keeping your pot full, the sump pipe doesn’t like not having a full pot.If it runs low, go through the prime sequence correctly again
