I really can't fault this product, it works well. I would only every buy an airless sprayer in future and wish I had done this years ago, rather than wasting money on those handheld paint pot ones over the years. We took a punt but didn't want to get a top notch one as we had to get a property done asap.I have owned several of the Wagner spayers over the years from the hand helds, the w500 wall sprayers and flexio's. They have been ok, but you get variable results, they can sputter a bit and is dependant on getting the water mix right. The difference with this one is you are not having to hold the gun/paint pot combo like the others, which means it lighter and you can move quicker, less drips. We painted a ceiling in 3 minutes and an entire bedroom in about 4 minutes, an entire house in a weekend. We used dulux -1step-prep-primer-sealer-undercoat with about 3/4 cup of water in the tank and no water at all for the dulux wash and wear. We bought the wagner gun extension so we didn't need to climb up a ladder for the ceiling. It was easy to use, with my niece also having a go and laying it down like a pro. I wish I had splashed the cash years ago on a decent airless rather than wasting money on the handhelds.

This is my second one after the first one stopped priming after only one use. DO NOT leave this machine with any Paint in it between coats. Clean it straight away as it’ll clog the pump and you won’t get it to prime or spray. The instructions say you can leave the gun wrapped in wet cloths so you can use it within a couple of hours without cleaning it. WRONG. It’s a pain but you need to clean it thoroughly between coats to stop it from clogging the pump. It actually does a good spray job on interior walls and ceilings; and you can do it super fast. Downside is it’s loud and needs a lot of cleaning just to make sure it’ll work the next time you’re going to use it.

This unit is fantastic for fences where a neat, detailed job is not required. There's a fair bit of tailing that's impossible to rectify because the pressure is not adjustable. But for our paling fence (and fence extensions) it turned what would have been a looooong and agonising job into a couple of 2 hour stints. You almost spend as much time cleaning it afterwards as you do going through a 10L can of paint.

Put primer through this..cleaned it as directed (alot of cleaning) went to use it with normal paint had pressure problems/uneven spray during application. Redid whole clean restarted process same thing. (Used 3 litres of turps) Went to return it to bunnings Geelong, they don't accept wagner items here..have to go directly to Wagner.. still awaiting for them to call me. Plus side the did give me a replacement tin of paint for the paint they labelled gloss but didn't gloss.Good times.
Did a lot of research and settled on this model to paint my colourbond fence, exterior of the house (bricks) and the roof. It’s worked so well, exactly as described, over spray was minimal, no runs in the paint even after diluting Dulux westhershield 10% with water. I still cannot believe how effective it is, saved days of painting with rollers and brush, sucks the paint though, she is thirsty! Love this thing nevertheless ! Highly recommend for the bigger projects.
Got this yesterday to paint the front of the house. Did a great job of the front wall, under the eaves and the exposed beams. This thing eats paint at nearly 1 litre per minute, so be prepared to move quickly, or you'll run out before you finish what you set out to do.Spend the time to tape up properly or you'll end up with paint where you don't want it.Drop sheets are essential due to the over spray when doing walls and ceilings, haven't used it on floors yet but hoping gravity helps a bit wit the over spray when I do the shed floor.I ran with a 50% overlap so essentially I gave it 2 coats at once, which worked well. Coverage was good with nice soft feathered edges.Wish I could have justified the next model up as cleaning the tank was a little painful. But ... But $500 to the next model is a big jump. For $449 this is a good little machine.Cleaning it is a task. But at 1hr to do complete frontage of 20m and under eaves, well I'd rather be cleaning this machine than cutting in and rolling.Great beginners machine.I diluted the paint by 10% as recommended in most if the Wagner reviews on YouTube and the machine was faultless.
Great unit, did the whole outside of my house in 3 hours. Used Dulux Weathershield diluted 10% with water and it worked like a dream, very even spray on painted brickwork and looks fantastic. With one (somewhat heavy) coat I used at least 40% more than what Dulux calculator said for the area so buy plenty of paint. Takes a good half hour to do all the cleaning and rinsing steps, but well worth the hassle.
Bought it for couple jobs around the house. When I used for first time was ok and finish the job in no time (prime and paint a roof). For the second use it start to have pressure issues. Like pump wasn't stopping to build pressure but it was intermediate so I managed somehow to finish that job. On the third job didn't want to build pressure anymore. Pump wouldn't stop and paint start to come out from the bottom. Did a service on it replaced the "O" rings on it, on closer inspection I couldn't find any paint clogs so there wasn't a reason why it shouldn't build pressure. Put it back together and the problem was the same. Now it's sitting in the shed as one of my expensive ornaments-Pros: easy to use and saves a lot of time (but you loose a lot of time on ... Unit flogs out real fast designed for a couple of jobs around the home that's it, not fit for purpose gun is made out of poor quality material and will leak after a couple of small jobs. The prime hose is poor quality, cracks and leaks water onto the pressure switch, causing gremlins. Unit over priced for what it is. Have worked on high end Wagner airless's and they are nothing like these pieces of crap. If you want better value for money get an Ozito airless sprayer $339 compared to $490 for Pro 150. Ozito machine has better reviews and will last longer. The Pro150 $200 for a new gun, new parts for the SPRAY GUN aren't available and tips are nearly $70 new. If they priced these thing at about $300 it would be cheaper to bin the airless and get a new one instead of ... Thought I would post a quick review/post on this unit since I ran into an issue and figured it would be good to share what I learned.TLDR - If the unit isn't pressurizing properly, check the outlet valve for any debris or blockages. After purchasing the unit I followed the guide to get it set up. You start by filling the hopper with water and running it through the sprayer. I think this is to help clean out the unit and gives you a good opportunity to check for leaks etc. When you run it in the prime mode it feeds water through the hose and it feeds back directly into the hopper. While you are in this prime mode the motor is constantly running as expected. When you then flick it across to spray mode, the motor will continue for a moment and then cut out since the ... While you are in this prime mode the motor is constantly running as expected. When you then flick it across to spray mode, the motor will continue for a moment and then cut out since the sprayer is now at the expected pressure. It mentions in the docs that you will want the motor to cut off.Unfortunately with the unit, I had the motor would not cut off when in spray mode. As a result, it wasn't building up to the desired pressure and the spray wasn't as fine or as consistent as you would like. I painted my fence with one coat like this and wasn't too happy with the result. Went into the Mitre 10 store I purchased the unit from and they helped direct me to check the outlet valve for any blockages. Got home, checked and boom, a bit of black plastic was blocking there in the valve. Remove it and boom like magic the unit was pressurizing as it was meant to. After this, the next few coats of paint went on the fence like a dream. So quick and easy to use.So overall, once I got it working I was really happy with it, but knocked a star off for the hours of faffing around trying to figure out what was wrong with it from new.
