I bought this item a couple of weeks ago and have since spray painted a 40m2 wood paling fence (lapped and capped) with 2 coats. I used British Paints 4 Seasons Exterior Defence low sheen paint. It is water based and I used it undiluted. I had no isssue with this sprayer at all, the reasonably large paint reservoir meant it didn't need to be refilled too often. Whilst I had to move reasonably slowly over the surface to get the required coverage with undiluted paint, it certainly did the job and was perfect for this relatively small job.

A very simple unit, easy to clean and maintain, but lacks power to push out paint without significantly thinning it out. Regret not getting a more powerful unit.

Motor is too weak to blow paint effectively, even after thinning. Supposedly more powerful than my other but no, I’ve reverted to using my old blower with new spray gun.
