This item was not worth the cost. The amount of overspray is very surprising in the large volume, furthermore the unit is not east to use from a ladder. Coverage per bottle fill is less than expected. I tested it against a roller, the roller covered better with less material (no thinning required) but the sprayer required less effort.

I have an elevated deck with 16 stairs and a platform. I put the first coat of stain on with rollers and brushes and it took the wife and I 5 hours. I said screw it and bought this thing and it only took me 2.5 hours to do the seconds coat. I had never used a sprayer before so I was a little nervous. I got the hang of it in about 5 mins and the deck looks amazing. I also restrained my muskoka chairs and they looks brand new. Took me 10 mins. The clean us is surprisingly easy. very happy with this thing.

I bought this because I was repainting the exterior of my house which has an old stucco.Worked great. This machine does an unbelievable job. But do wash it thoroughly after each use.
Do i whise wagener sends more then one pant holders. It a good spray gun it qiter then runing a air tank it got a good spray control. Dependen on the paint mix and quality. It can easily not spray as big of a zone but it get the job rigth and os worthy of geting.
I received this sprayer from Lowes with previously opened box taped up with Lowes tape. The unit had scratches on it and smelled like varnish. Obviously some one used it, returned it, and then Lowes taped up the box and shipped it to me as new.Not impressed...returned item and will never buy online from Lowes again.

Great sprayer! I stained a large shed wall (12' x 20') from an extension ladder in less than one hour. It would have taken me all day with a brush and I couldn't have got the stain into cracks in the wood like I did with the sprayer. Cleanup was easy and quick. There are excellent utube videos on proper cleaning which I recommend.
My boyfriend bought this to spray sealer on a garden planter that he built me and he was amazed at how well it worked and cleaned up.He was a commercial painter for 18 years and used high end sprayers. This was light weight, super easy to clean up (soak overnight in soapy water and give a scrub in the morning) and easy to use. He wouldn’t recommend for anything but water based products but for what we needed, it was terrific.He sprayed 5 gallons of sealer for the planter and fully expects it to do the same next year when he builds a second one.
