These clippers have been built with the cheapest and most flimsy material on planet earth! The plastic of the main body around the blade has broken off on 5 different occasions and I had to super glue it on so the blade doesn’t fall off. The T blade cuts your skin all the time. The zipper on the bag has fallen off and the stitching on the bag has come apart in 4 different places. The other tools don’t work that well. I paid a small fortune for these clippers which a $10 clipper from a competitor outperforms. I’ve had these clippers for about 1 year and have taken absolute care of them. Never dropped once! Just spent my first few minutes with the Barracuda, and WOW! I'm impressed by the power, the precision of the trimmer blade, the number of included blade guards and the battery life of the trimmer itself. Very easy to control. Two things I'm a little bit upset by? The dual foil shaver head attachment doesn't give as close a shave as I'd hoped, and the instruction manual doesn't show how to swap the trimmer blade for the shaver head. Definitely happy that I chose it above the cheaper 'Aqua Blade'!

I’ve been using this trimmer for a few weeks now and I can’t recommend it enough. I can’t believe I struggled with my old Remington for so long. I use this new trimmer for beard maintenance & styling + body. Gets through thick body hair with ease and there’s no nick or cuts in the process.

The beard trimmer has a higher rpm than the previous sub $100 models/brands I used to buy and has more attachments than I'll probably ever use. The foil shaver works pretty good and doesnt cause ingrowns on my neck hair like other forms of blade shaving does for me. Beard has never looked better. Very easy to clean because its water proof. I'd recommend buying the cleaner/maintenance spray as its easier for me to remember spray after each use than remembering to oil the blades every month.
I bought a Barracuda Trimmer few weeks ago and after the first use I already had my opinion about it. TERRIBLE.Worst trimmer I’ve ever owned.It’s sold as a good trimmer but it’s just rubbish. The edges of the trimmer are too sharp and there’s not one time I shave myself and don’t bleed.After every single use I’m bleeding in a different spot.I went to back to ShaverShop to get a refund or another product and they didn’t care at all.I pretty much threw $200 in the bin. I’m completely disappointed.Do not buy this product at all.
Bought this shaver last year and returned it for a refund/credit a few weeks later (12/05/2021.)The blades are not sharp. They pull at your beard hairs instead of cutting them.The "6-Position Acculock guide comb" is useless as the clip that holds the selected length slips when you apply even the SLIGHTEST amount of pressure (this is why I returned it.)The lady at the store tried out a the "guide comb" from a different box and it had the exact same problem.Absolutely in NO way is it worth the price tag. I reverted back to the very cheap shaver I already had that I'd planned to replace.
In my opinion this is not a high quality product. 8 have used a supposedly cheaper brand to shave my husbands head and got better results. The teeth on the blades are small and I cannot see them lasting. In hand the shaver feels small and to be honest, like it doesn't have much power. As a body hair trimmer I had a $20 trimmer that this replaced which lasted 15 years and was better quality. If I could return this product I would.
This is not a bad trimmer, on the opposite, it`s pretty good.The major, major issue is that it use a Proprietary cable connection, that if you lost, it will cost you more then half of the price of this product (around $75 on all the places that i found). And is not easy or quick to replace it, so if you are in a travel you will have to buy another one. This is stupid is so many levels.
after 2 days of use the blade started to rust! taken back to the store and i'm told the blades aren't covered by warranty. really? now a month later I've gone through the blades included in the set, and an additional one from the store. Emailed the online store for help after the store refused to assist and absolutely no response. I've shopped a lot at shaver shop but never again. Don't buy this shaver unless you don't care about money!
I bought this Wahl trimmer just over two years ago. Unfortunately the battery doesn’t hold a charge and the battery drains to empty after a few days even when unused. I never kept it on the charger unless I know it’s low and needs charged, so it isn’t a case of me keeping it plugged in all the time. It was a great machine and loved that it had two different style of interchangeable blades. One for a nice close facial trim and another for body hair. Since rechargeable trimmers typically only last 2 years it seems I will be replacing my Wahl with a different brand this time around.
