Cuts hair smoothly, efficiently, and quickly. The range of guards with the package are a great help. It took me more than 1 hour to cut my hair with trimmers before. But now I know that with good quality clippers the job can be done in 15 minutes. I also chose wahl clippers because it was recommended for cutting thick curly hair.

I have only used this once but it worked well. I bought it as a beard trimmer as I am fed up with buying beard trimmers that take multiple passes to get to the length required. I bought this because I had seen a handful of people recommend it for this reason. I used it without any attachments at its shortest setting. The stubble was very short, less than 1mm I would say, almost clean shaven but clearly with some growth. Very pleased, and less than a quarter of the time i would normally spend with my Philips beard trimmer which was around 40.The clipper comes with the normal grade attachments from grade 1 upwards. This produces a cut of 3mm. A 1/2 grade is available to buy seperately which provides a cut of of 1.5mm I think, which is what my old bear trimmer was set to. However, without the attachment, I can adjust the cutting length - my first attempt was at its shortest, next time I will do its longest which I think could be around 1mm which is perfect for stubble look.The clipper is heavy, (but feels solid and of good quality), it seems very capable for my needs, and because it is a cable version (rather than battery) I think will last some years. A very versitle clipper that i now use every day! Great for fading and debulking. No cons with this clipper only pros. Cuts through strong, coarse hair like its butter and is incredibly light weight. Easy to handle and has a great run time between charging, 5 stars.

Charging issues after four uses and three months.

I used these maybe four times total and it won't charge anymore. I love Wahl products but this thing is a flaming pile of garbage. You can still use them while they are plugged in but it completely defeats the purpose of a cordless clipper. I should have listened to the reviews but I didn't. Do not buy these or you'll be stuck with a $60 corded clippers.

Clippers Didn’t Cut

I got these clippers for the sole purpose of cutting my own hair and I like bald fades and I couldn’t even get it as bald as I like. Then the guards Wahl have seem off to me. The 1 guard felt like a 2 guard and when I want to use the .5 guard for that closer cut I didn’t feel the hair come off no matter how many times I went over that “harsh” line to blend the fade. Overall the clips are super light which I think is good but bad because The magic clip felt and sounded that it had a weak motor. I exchanged for Babyliss silver FX cordless and we’ll see if it’s just all these new cordless clippers coming out or if it’s Wahl.

Gives a great haircut effortlessly

Just what I needed, I have never used a barber since the first lockdown. being follically challenged I have an easy-maintenance hairstyle, just needs a good going over with a trimmer. Easy to do a DIY cut, however I do get my wife to finish off the back of my neck. The cordless battery has a long life and the trim is very even. So much better than my previous trimmer.

Good value, not powerful enough

I have been using an upgraded cordless Senior. With that in mind, the Magic clips seem under powered. The included charging cord isnt the same that my Senior takes, so that makes it a bit of a pain. The Magic Clips are a good value and with some modifications will make a great clipper.

Great for at home hair care!

I just recently got the Wahl cordless magic clip from Sally Beauty because I wanted something that would last to start cutting my own hair and bought the CoolCare with it as they recommended it to keep the clipper oiled and rust free, plus it’s in a spray so much easier and faster to apply than reguler clipper oil. It’s also a very big bottle so they said it should last a really long time.I only used the clipper once so far and It works great. The fact that its cordless is a big plus because you don’t have to manage the cord while using it. The motor runs alot smoother(not as noisy). I also noticed that where I had to pass multiple times before with the beard trimmer, it was alot less after applying the coolcare.

I bought these to replace my color coded Wahl clippers and I sure didn't go wrong. There is no comparison with my old Clippers and these. My son has really thick hair and these went through like butter I couldn't believe how smooth it was. The old ones would get caught so many times and then you had to adjust them but these don't even have that adjustment screw you just turn them on and go. Wahl was not lying when they call these magic Clippers, it's like you can't mess anyone's head up with these. If you've been cutting your kids hair for a little while at home and you never did quite get it perfectly even he will with these and it will look professional. Wahl Cordless Magic Clip Clipper Metal Limited Edition

This is top end expensive for a clipper. Bought for use at home and we are non-professional stylists lol! It feels nice, heavy and the metal casing gives it a vintage look. The clipper itself works great so far, got through my mop and my sons as well. Charges quickly and doesn’t loose power like my old clippers did. Would be nice to have instructions on how best to use it, get a proper fade etc, Instruction manual only has practical stuff like how to charge it, oil blades etc. Had to look it up on YouTube. There are only 3 clipper guards on it which is why it only gets 4 stars. It would be better to have more - getting more costs at least an extra £30, making it overall very expensive.
