Even clean, dry hair. So I went back to hand cutting with scissors which is very time consuming.I didn't realize that corded clippers have more power. I read a ton of reviews on Wahl and another brand and decided on Wahl. I was so impressed with the feel (quality) of the clippers, the blade is solid. I oiled per instructions, ran the clippers for a bit and then tried on one of my pups! OMG! It IS like cutting through butter. In about an hour's time I had both of the girls trimmed. The clippers are cheap quality for the price. Awkward to hold onto because they are slick. The long cord is stiff and makes it harder to use the clippers. They did not trim the hair until I used my old Oster Skip tooth blade. The switch button is also cheap and harder to use because it has very little grip to it. The good is: it is quiet.

This clipper claims to be professional. It's cost was over $250. I have a doodle and worked over an hour on just front legs and quarter panel. The clip was laborious and not at all attractive. Big disappointment. I bought a $99 vacuum system, the total clip was easy and took about one hour. I realize the less expensive vacuum clipper will not last as long as the Wahl, however thr vacuum clipper got the job done while the Wahl was a total fail.

I bought this clipper for my shipadoodle. For the first two cuts it worked fine. But for the third cut, it stopped cutting. I had to buy a new driver and a 7F blade. Towards the end of third cut, clippers stopped cutting again. After repeated cleaning of the blade and clipper, I somehow managed the 3rd cut. For the 4th cut, the issue started again. Now I'm here on Wahl's website to buy 4 drivers and another new blade. Please note that these blades are costly. For the potential buyers - my recommendation would be skip this one as it's not worth for your money.
Excellent !! Had been using a basic clipper for ages and not being totally satisfied with the results, so, finally took the advise of the professional groomers and purchased the Best Model that they recommended and used. Results are fabulous- these cut continuously and without effort - so - highly recommended and dont waste your time if youre a first- time groomer, with a cheaper model !

At first I had to jiggle and hold them at just the right angle for them to even power on. Then nothing! It was like there was a connection issues, I was unsure if they would still repair it for free if I opened them myself so I decided to email them directly. When I reached out to Wahl, I was told to mail them in and they would be delivered back when repaired. When I explain that I live on a boat so having something mailed to me is hard and those were my only clippers, I received no other emails or calls regarding the matter. I spent $200/session every eight weeks to groom my long-haired cat. He still gets professionally groomed, but now, it's every 16 weeks, thanks to my Wahl KM10. I can do touch-ups on his face - avoiding whiskers, neck, paws, and hind legs for sanitary purposes, using 1-in. and half-in. professional guide combs for safety. Daily brushing is important; with this regimen, my little guy maintains a healthy and beautiful coat.
I had an old pair of Oster A5's and I don't think you could have convinced me that the Wahl KM10's would be significantly better than those. I was wrong. These are significantly better, for whatever reason they cut much better with the same blades I was using. The KM10's operating volume is probably 25-30% of what the Oster's volume. When working around the face my dog doesn't resist as much due to that quieter and calmer operation. I had watched a video that had recommended these and I am not disappointed, great purchase!
I spent 4 hours trying to use this on freshly bathed and brushed pup and it did not perform nearly as well as my cordless joyzee hornet clipper! I am very disappointed because for the price and reputation of the Wahl KM10, it performed subpar. After trying it once and it not yielding results as described by this company, I put it back in its box and I plan on returning it. I regret I also purchased a set of clippers which was also spendy. I want me money back.
I have two standard goldendoodles, each with a different coat. I bathe them and brush them before each groom. The Wahl KM10 worked great for about 3 grooms each, then the switch stopped functioning. Chewy was great and I returned the clippers and bought another set. After using the second clippers for one groom each, the clippers stopped cutting. I ordered another blade, but unfortunately this didn’t fix the issue. Again, sent the clippers back. 3rd set and here we go again. The quality is off on these clippers. Very disappointing. Will not purchase again!
