Wahoo KICKR Axis Action Feet

If you're not quite ready to upgrade to the newest KICKR Wahoo offers the KICKR AXIS Upgrade Kit so you can enhance the riding characteristics of your older KICKR. The AXIS feet replace the existing feet on your KICKR to support three different stiffness levels with the ultimate intention of adding more realistic riding sensations while you're hammering indoors. With the feet the trainer moves side to side while you pedal instead of remaining fixed in place. At the 'easy-action' level you'll have five-degrees of side to side movement for the most real-world riding experience. However Wahoo makes it easy to swap out to stiff and medium levels depending on your specific ride goals. The purpose is to reduce fatigue on the cycling muscles that may get overworked when locked into a fixed trainer position and to recruit more stability muscles that require training to translate to outdoor-riding preparedness. The AXIS feet themselves are easy to install and swap out if you want to modify your ride from general training to sprint or race drills. And the feet are compatible with all versions of Wahoo's KICKR but not KICKR CORE or KICKR SNAP.

Bought these a while ago now they were at a great price n I was tempted, Great purchase make training comfier by allowing a bit of bikevmovement (I don't even tend to move noticeably on the road) been less sore after long training indoors and KickR seems smoother less vibration n slightly quieter too. Great price n in-Stock service from the SIGMASPORT guys as always. Very easy to swap over, only watch out could be they act like Suckers so could lift laminate flooring ( I use a matt anyway so not an issue)

Bought these as a cheaper alternative to a rocker plate to add realism, and reduce the worrying creaking from my carbon frame on standing efforts. They nicely add realism and have eliminated the creaking - hopefully saving my frame from damage. Would definitely recommend to others. Quick delivery and well packaged.

They’re ok but I’m not sure that they’re worth the money. The feet installed fine on my 2nd gen Kickr, no problems there. Don’t expect a big difference but it does add some subtle movement which is better than none I guess. They come with the middle setting feet installed, I might try the smallest, most flexible, feet to see if they add more flex. The 3 options are based on rider weight but I’d guess most people will just put on the most flexible feet despite what they weigh. Honestly if I had the chance to try them first I probably wouldn’t have bought them, I’ll try them a little longer before I decide if they get returned.

If you have a Wahoo KickR this is a must have.Even my best knicks didnt provide enough support on training rides greater than 30mins. Now 2hours on the KickR seems possible

Not much Action feet

Kickr are great but these feet are really not worth the upgrade. The amount of movement by even the lightest feet option is minimal and far from the claimed ‘close to real world feel.’ Placing the trainer on some foam would get a similar outcome. Not recommended

Note that this item isn't going to revolutionise your cycling on the turbo, but I don't think it was intended to do so. If you want your bike to move significantly from side to side, you're better off buying a rocker plate.I purchased this item to get rid of the rigid feeling of the bike on the turbo and it does just that. It creates a bit more movement/flex of the frame to just be a bit more comfortable on the bike.

Simple but brilliant

Bought these feet primarily because they were the latest accessory for my wahoo paincave. But straight away found a noticeable difference in the comfort of my sessions.I'm yet to do a mega 5 hour session but so far 2hour plus sessions, from a comfort perspective, are like a sub 1 hour session.Simple but brilliant.

Subtle but effective

This is great Kickr upgrade that just allows a little side to side movement but gives a more realistic ride. It is subtle but effective! I am really glad I was able to change the feet rather than buy a new Kickr (which I couldn’t afford anyway). Swapping over was simple and quick but definitely sticking with these,

These are so good. I was getting sore in the hips due to the static nature of indoor riding. Since setting up the Axis feet the pain has gone and it feels way more natural riding on the trainer now, especially when off the seat.
