Bought this direct drive trainer after spending months reading reviews across the entire range of options. This is by far the best on the market with a great price point. The virtual shifting means any bike can be used to hook up. I had it unboxed and up and running in under 10mins. Now using for cross training , and found that the Zwift cross over is addictive and keeping me in the saddle. Extremely well build with almost zero noise and great âroad feelâ. Very responsive resistance and flywheel when connected with Zwift and gear shifting seamless for most users. Zero regrets apart from waiting so long to purchase. Great investment in my fitness!

I mean, not completely bad, but can't give it an okay. The trainer and the zwift click have some regular drops in connection via bluetooth that doesn't happen in any other device I got, so no problem in my computers. I bought an ant+ dongle and for me it was completely unusable with that protocol, constant drops, but i couldn't test the dongle with any other device so I don't know which to blame. I use it now with bluetooth, but not completely satisfied with the drops.

Awesome trainer that works flawlessly with the Zwift Cog/click and the reliability of the Wahoo kickr core. Initial setup is a breeze and only takes a few nuts and bolts. I can launch zwift on my macbook and everything from the trainer to my HRM and zwift play controllers automatically connects and is ready to roll within seconds. Only putting around 100 mi / week on my setup but extremely happy with it so far.

This is my secondary trainer having also owning a Watt Bike Atom. The Virtual shifting was the main reason I chose this trainer, having gotten used to this functionality on the watt bike. its a great backup to use at my Partners house when I am away from home.The trainer was easy to install and instructions clear on how to complete the spin down on first use. Highly recommend as an entry level smart trainer.
A big improvement on my previous smart trainer. I was pleased that the virtual gears can be controlled by my Zwift play controllers - all integrated with the steering, brakes etc etc. So I didn't need to use the clicker changer supplied. My FTP is a bit lower after a ramp test but that's because the power meter is likely more accurate. The trainer is quiet compared to my previous one and has a proper bike freewheel sound when not pedaling. It takes a while to get out of the habit of changing gear using your shifters with the occasional attempt causing a sluggish shift sound but Easy to shift back again. Easy to assemble and set up. The year of Zwift membership code arrived quickly by email and was easy to redeem.
The trainer itself is perfectly fine. Easy to assemble really quiet and provides an okay ride feel. delivery was also quite quick. However there are two less than satisfactory item. The noise of the cog is very loud. Even after switching to a new chain it was unbearable. Purchasing and installing a ultegra cassette solved that problem. With of course extra cost. The other problem was the one year subscription. I activated it when my subscription was suppended. Should not have done that. It took Zwift support three days to repair my subscription. So finally everything is working
Other than trail riding, this is probably the only way I could cycle uninterrupted for long distances. The level unlocks and badges make it fun. Level 10 now. Haven't done a race yet, but I want to soon. One of my arrow stickers came off after a few weeks, but I put that on my laptop. As soon as I did my first ride, I immediately saw the need for a fan and a desk, moreso the fan. A stool gets the job done.
This is a great device at this price point. I am impressed with the noise level, and feel when I am riding. Erg mode is a really nice feature that lets me get in a good workout without having to think about it too much. The Zwift cog is nice for me because two people with two different bikes use this trainer. Although itâs sad that the Zwift cog shifter doesnât work with other apps like trainer road.
Just bought a Wahoo KICKR CORE Zwift One. Install was easy, updated firmware, indexed rear derailleur for quiet smooth operation. Only one issue was making me crazyâan occasional âclackingâ noise which did not affect the smooth cycling. Upon reinspection of the Zwift cog, I noticed the outer and inner plastic bumpers were very loose! The lock ring was barely tightened. It was an easy fix to use a cassette lock ring tool to tighten the lock ring but not everyone keeps these tools in their kit (Iâm a wannabee bike mechanic). Caution: per Wahoo, holding the pulley wheel, only tighten a quarter turn after finger tight. Resultâno more plastic clacking noise. Solid performance out of the box. Upgrade after 7 years of the KickrSnap,, the single cog is such a game changer, love the ease of switching between bikes and not worrying about about different drivetrains. Sound is quiet, you'll hear the click of the cog but ignore it once you get going and warmed up.Super fast response in erg mode, especially in intervals. Sprinting during the race it's very stable. The click gearing feels like a cheat how quick it is. You'll adjust to the timing of shifting up and down.I used to only connect via Ant+, what they don't tell you is, the the clicker and hub have to be connected via Bluetooth. You might say duh but it's a fun important fact left out.For the price it's a heck of a deal. Few weeks of ridding and I'm pretty happy.
