Pros:1) The design works good with both my Kickr bike and my V5.2) The height is adjustable via the blue buttons.3) The wheels on the bottom make it easy to adjust position on the floor.Cons:1) The product seems cheap. It has a dollar store feel to it.2) The desk arrived scratched up and damaged even though it should have been new. I asked Wahoo to discount it or replace the damaged part but they sent out another desk. I ended up sending the new replacement back because it’s wasteful and a hassle unboxing a new desk and sending the original back.

I have been using my Wahoo Fitness Bike Desk for the past couple of months and wonder how I ever managed without it!. The design and execution are excellent. I am actually writing this review while using the desk. I've found that I can now ride my Wahoo Kickr trainer (albeit slower than usual) while browsing and answering e-mail, surfing the net, and doing medical charting. I can usually ride comfortably at about 14-15 mph and 80 W/Kg for hours at a time on my Kickr while keyboarding on the computer. I did purchase an upright "urban comfort bike" seat for my training bike, so that I can maintain an upright posture while keyboarding. I swap this out for the standard bike saddle when training hard. I did purchase an upright "urban comfort bike" seat for my training bike, so that I can maintain an upright posture while keyboarding. I swap this out for the standard bike saddle when training hard. I'm 6'3" and did have to drill two more holes in the lower adjustable legs to bring the desk to a truly comfortable height for me to be able to keyboard for long periods of time while riding my trainer (with the comfort bike saddle), but it was useable even before my modifications. Check the specs and use a tape measure to make sure the height will be good for you without modifications. I also use the desk when riding my bike in the Zwift game, and it allows me to easily access the keyboard for changing views, texting other riders, changing parameters, etc. The slots in the desk top which hold smart phones works quite well and holds my iPhone at a good angle so I can ride and follow (or change parameters) in the Wahoo Fitness app, Zwift app, etc. My only gripe would be the wheels on the base, which cause the desk to "roll away from you" while keyboarding. I use a bungee cord to tie the base to my trainer's front wheel to keep the desk from rolling forward by the pressure of my hands on the keyboard. But the wheels do allow for easy back and forth adjustment of the desk position when I'm not keyboarding vigorously, like when I'm riding in the Zwift game. Fit and finish are excellent and the desk is more sturdy and robust than I thought it would be from the pictures. It has a nice rubber mat on the desktop which holds your keyboard and mouse securely to the desk, and keeps them from falling off. Highly recommended!

I delayed purchasing the cycling desk for a long time due to the price. I evaluated a number of cheaper competing products, but each one had obvious design flaws or reviewed poorly. When Wahoo offered a promotional discount, I purchased one and am glad I did. It's easy to assemble, move, and adjust. The only criticism I have is that the channels designed to hold mobile phones or iPads don't take cases into account and I have to shove my phone in. It's a minor quibble and the only reason I care is that it holds the device at a right angle, making it slightly harder for my old eyes to read it. Your experience may vary. At any rate, I typically use my iPad and rely on its case to hold it at the angle I prefer.Sometimes it's worth paying more to get a quality product, ... MoreI delayed purchasing the cycling desk for a long time due to the price. Well-architected and well-engineered, straightforward to assemble. Nice desktop platform that is very easy to move upward and downward. Angle of legs is good, as the desktop moves closer when going upward. Choice of only three wheels provides a reasonably stable platform without any required adjustments. With some force in the diagonal direction, it is possible to tip the desk slightly (floor bar prevents any major movement). Overall, we liked it enough that we bought a second desk (we have two Wahoo KICKRs sitting side-by-side).
Absolutely love this, it makes riding a pleasure, it is solid, and stable, don't move around the surface is rubberized so I open my laptop without it sliding, my phone, water bottle stays in place, everything at my fingertips. Believe me it is worth every penny. Don't waste your time and money on a cheep one. Easy to assemble.Great quality like everything I have purchased from Wahoo.
The desk is great. I originally got a RAD desk as no one had a Wahoo desk in stock, and my need was urgent. But I instantly regretted it, returned it and got this. The casters on the RAD rotated 360 degrees, theoretically making positioning a little easier, and were lockable, which can be useful on less than level surfaces. However the quality was not good, and in my case the RAD desk was faulty in not having a hole for the 3rd caster! Making it essentially useless. The Wahoo desk seems a better product all around, and IMHO certainly worth the price. Wheels are higher quality and less likely to scratch the wood floor, frame is more robust, especially the base, and the overall finish feels better. Everything I expect from Wahoo.
I thought the table was quite expensive when I first looked at it, but it has been worth every cent! It was easy to put together. The height of the table can be adjusted with ease and it can conveniently be moved around on its wheels. It holds all the gadgets you need for using an indoor trainer, including laptop, music, drinks and snacks.
I bought this a while back. If you're working out in the basement and want to use your laptop or ipad for example this desk is very convenient. It's stable and easy to move back and forth. It's easy to raise or lower. I do use it during the winter seasons. Some observations:1. I wrapped the underside of the desk edge with electrical tape. I was getting my knuckles cut with the sharp plastic when the height was just a bit over the handlebars.2. The rollers - they don't lock. This is annoying as they tend to meander away if the floor is smooth. You might want to use your bottle cages for this reason rather than put water bottles on the desk.3. It is really expensive. There ought to be a towel holder or a water bottle holder. It does feel a bit like a 1.0 product for observations above. Hence the 3 stars. I still like it.
After much consideration, mainly down to cost, I got the kickr desk about a month ago and am very happy that I did. It is really well built, much better construction materials than I expected and very sturdy, as a result. The desk portion is large enough to fit all your essentials for Zwifting (or whatever you do) and easily holds my laptop and my phone upright in little grooves along the front (and back), which have gaps every so often where charging cables can be pushed through from underneath the desk to keep them out of the way. This still leaves plenty of room for any snacks you may need for during your ride. The top of the desk has a really solid rubber(ish) non-slip insert, that covers the majority of the top and prevents whatever you have on it from slipping ... MoreAfter much consideration, mainly down to cost, I got the kickr desk about a month ago and am very happy that I did. Expensive for a laptop, phone and snack holder but that been said, you kind of get what you pay for in terms of quality and functionality. Woul recommend this if you have the budget for it.
It's a desk. It's just a desk...well, this is what I told myself before purchasing but this amazing piece of kit has transformed my Turbo Training. I've tried many things for a desk...a tall stool, a low table, a chair by my side but this is what you need. Yes, expensive but if you can afford then it's the perfect addition to your indoor cycling set up.
