Only comment is it is quite annoying to have to need to buy this in the first place. The Kickr really should come from new with option for 12 speed and so you do not need to spend an extra £50 straight away to be able to use your new trainer which Wahoo really needs to sort out. So good product, but in my view it should not really be needed.

It wasn’t clear that this wasn’t compatible with the V3. Having opened the packet to try and fit it, I’ve now had to give up and buy a Wattbike instead.

My advice for 12spd bikes - Do NOT purchase!I’ve purchase the Wahoo Kickr V6, a new SRAM ASX Force 12spd Cassette, The Wahoo XDR/XD Freehub Body, and yet my bike still does not fit!!! When placing the bike onto the Kickr the chain has rubbed and scratched the inside of my frame when attempting to pedal the crank. This is exceptionally frustrating.My advice for 12spd bikes - Do NOT purchase!
Great product. For some one who has got into cycling later in life a little more information and installation of the cassette would be helpful.I had to do bit of trial and error to use the right nut for the driver to end up with the correct spacing for mySRAM Eagle GX cassette so it shifted properly when putting the bike on. ;-) But thats my limited knowledge not the product ;-)
Good product and does what it needs to. I’m taking off a star for having to pay £50 for it though. With the ever growing popularity of SRAM 12 speed, this should be either an option on the trainer or included.
I required the XDR Freehub body to fit a 12 speed cassette to my Kickr.It was easy to install with some help from the wahoo installation video.
I bought this a couple of weeks ago and finally got around to fitting it. What an easy process having looked at the Wahoo site instructions it was an absolute breeze. Recommended to all and delivered quickly as well
The sales blurb says I am able to use the free hub with the new sram xdr axs system. What it fails to inform is you have to purchase a further £30 of adapter parts……..it may be compatible with your xdr cassette but doesn’t fit your 2021 bike frame, in my case a 2021 Orbea OMX. Why are the adapter parts not supplied with the freehub for a sram ax’s system that is likely to be fitted to a recent bike frame design? Come on wahoo, you can do a more transparent job than that.
Item arrived perfectly packaged and ready to install.I bought this for my Wahoo Kickr Core and the installation was a very simple process. There are excellent videos on the Wahoo site on how to do this but very simple indeed. Once installed i put the cassette on and it was ready to go within 15 mins. Even added a bit of extra grease because who needs a noisy freehub on an in door trainer.
