These things are the best. Used them at out outdoor range while practicing defensive shooting. Turning them on is such a huge difference from regular muffs. I’ll never use regular ones again. These are definitely the best and you can hear someone talking at a normal volume rather than having them yell to you. The wind from the outdoors can be heard if blowing very hard like the day we were out. But none the less these are worth the money. Will buy again.

This is my first try at electronic hearing protection, and wow was I impressed! I could not believe how much it cut out the gunfire but normal conversations are so clear. I heard a guy halfway down the range cussing his new rifle. They are very comfortable to wear during long range sessions. I always get compliments on the kryptek Camo and flag patch too. Just remember to turn them off so you don’t burn through the batteries. I will be buying another set for my son.
I have had severe hearing loss in both ears for more than 40 years. I can't wear my hearing aids when I wear ear muffs due to too much feedback noise. These muffs are fantastic; the first time I took them to the range I was amazed. Not only were they very effective at reducing the high decibel noise from my own shooting and from those shooting around me, but by easily adjusting the volume control I could also hear other shooters up and down the firing line as they spoke in normal tones - I never would have thought that possible before. Definitely an excellent purchase from my perspective.
I got these for Christmas last year and played with them some, but the deer woods is where they really shine! Being older and having a life ti.e of motors, gun shots and loud music has really limited my ability to listen in the woods. But now I can hear and instantly identify direction and type of sound. When it came time, the 30-06 sounded like a distant 22. Would recommend these for anyone needing to hear better and protect what's left of your hearing.
I’m an NRA Firearms Instructor and I absolutely love these electronic muffs. So much I bought two pair. Makes communicating with my students on the range easy and the sound deadening reaction to gunfire is almost instantaneous. No need to remove these ever. I also like the flexibility of the volume sensitivity settings on the HD microphone. It picks up sounds from far away with crisp quality. I have yet to try out the music port for hooking up my iPhone to play tunes, but it’s nice to know I have that ability. May have to come up with a shooting soundtrack! Very happy with my purchases.
They work great for the shooting range. But I'm not convinced they are the right answer for riding a UTV with loud exhaust.
This is my second purchase of electronic earmuffs. The Walker razor slim is less bulky then the earlier generation of earmuffs! The sound microphone technology has come a long way too! I think I will pick up another set!
I bought these for a friend. I currently use the same kind for myself and my daughters for hunting and/or shooting. They seem to provide adequate protection and feel comfortable to wear. The electronic hearing works great and you can add the two way radio to this model as well. Great product.
