Ive long been a fan of Walkers Shortbread, but what I like about these is that theyre individually wrapped. Shortbread is best when its superfresh, and with these twin packs, you know theyll always be just that.If youve never had shortbread, be prepared for a cookielike product thats extremely simple. The ingredients are merely flour, butter, sugar, and salt. Somehow, out of that, they get one of the richest, most palatepleasing desserts around. And dont be fooled by the word bread. Theres nothing breadlike about them. Theyre very crisp, and dense. Also, theyre not particularly sweet its the butter thats the standout ingredient. They would be great served with ice cream, but I prefer them all by themselves.

Used to buy these for my husband all the time, but there were so many issues with damage that we gave up. Its been a couple years, so decided to try again. As far as shortbread, Walkers was always the best, and the most expensive. So today I received my first order after two years, and it will be my last. First, the Amazon ad is very misleading. It says all over 2 pack , 15 count, pack of 2, and shows 2 boxes. Well, you better read more because its only one box with 15 2count packages. I think they could word it better and remove the two boxes since you dont get 2 boxes. But ok, my fault for not reading it better. However, the package I got today 101 expires 111. Shouldnt be sending stuff that close to the expiration date, but we since theyre still within date, what ... MoreUsed to buy these for my husband all the time, but there were so many issues with damage that we gave up. Total fail all around. So, no more Walkers for us. Dont know if this is all Amazons fault, or Walkers, but Im thinking its Amazons because if I buy them in the store, I have no problem.

I saw these at a friend's house and ended up leaving with the box. It is so good and I get excited every time I find it in stores. So far I found it in shoppers drug mart and longos. I love the short ingredient list and how homemade they taste. It can be hard but I pop mine in the microwave for a few seconds and they taste like they’re straight out of the oven. I think they cost about $6 or less depending on where you buy them. I don’t mind the price I do which there were more servings in a box but that’s fine with me.

I have always loved short bread cookies … then one day there was a coupon for these Walker shortbread cookies. Okay, sure, why not try it? They literally melt in your mouth. They are so perfect and taste exactly like the SIMPLE and only ingredients listed. I even went and bought the “Scottie Dogs” for my children so they wouldn’t eat all the fingers or sticks. I prefer the taste of those. And happily enough, my children prefer the dogs! Maybe because they’re really cute, or maybe because they aren’t as rich and thick. I can honestly say that there is always a box of these in my home at all times now. If I see I’m running low, I place an order ASAP! I definitely recommend these to everyone! I am absolutely in LOVE with this shortbread butter cookies by walkers. My husband actually has to stop me from eating these because I can finish 2-3 packs in one seating and I am not even kidding. They are very buttery and smell delicious. Not very sweet like the other cookies, just the right kind. Definitely give this a try when you are feeling sad or depressed. It will light up your mood. There is no better cookie than shortbread by Walkers
These Walker Scottish Shortbread cookies are spectacularly good. For a commercially made product, made 1/2 way around the world, causes me to wonder just how amazing they are right out of the oven at the factory! The taste of the real butter along with the proper amount of sweetness combined with the crumbly ‘shortbread’ makes for an excuisite taste. After 7 decades I’ve come to feel, “Do something simple. Then do it well.†Walkers has done that. And done it well. There is no other commercial product that I have found that even comes anywhere close to the tasty satisfaction that come from these tasty Cookies (or ‘biscuits’ as they’re called in Great Britian).Enjoy them alone or with a glass of milk or they’re even better with tea or coffee.Be ... MoreThese Walker Scottish Shortbread cookies are spectacularly good. Look at the calories on the box. Great taste comes from good ingredients and they are calorie dense!I combat this by savoring them - eating ever so slowly! Savoring the intense flavor and restisting the urge to gobble them all down at once!!Go ahead. Get a box. They're really good!
Best cookies in the world!Absolutely love them.Been buying this brand for 30yrs.Use to buy them from The British Store over by Rice University for years. Back in the day you couldn't find them just anywhere %26 there was no ordering them online. Now..Delivered to my front door. A little piece of Heaven. Other shortbread cookies don't even come close. I agree w/ another reviewer..my only complaint is that there's not more of them. I have the larger size that has an assortment of them on it's way as we speak. Suppose to be delivered tomorrow. Lol. I use to drive across town to get these cookies. Now..they come to me. What more could you ask.🥰
I was immediately impressed with just the packaging...very colorful and high quantity. A lot of attention was paid to the presentation. The butter cookies were out of this world delicious! Each cookie was substantial...not thin and slight. Each different shape was buttery and just moist enough to taste like they had just come out of the oven! I will be buying these again for myself and family and friends.
The list of ingredients is short and simple. No need for multi syllabic chemicals! And, in my view, because of this simplicity, the product, crumbly and buttery, is splendid!Palm oil, stabilisers, emulsifiers etc etc are just not needed for authentic products. And, an added bonus, it survives dunking very well!
I thought it would be neat to try cookies from Scotland... but, as a Louisiana girl, I am used to cookies being sweet. These are not, like at all. I love a yummy cup of Tips brand tea from Britain but I will stick to American tea cookies. They are also really thick, our cookies are usually thinner. These are like cookie bricks. If you don't like sugar, these cookies are for you.
