We bought this tent over 2 months ago and used it for the second time this week. Firstly the floor is not heated pvc, the bottom is not sealed as water seeps through and soaked our mattress and clothing items. We have now had to throw out the mattress due to three types of mold (yellow, red and black). Between the flooring and the tent wall seams all leaked during rainfall. During rainfall we had to exit the tent in order to close the windows, as these cannot be closed from the inside. There is also no power outlet exit, as well as no were to hang lighting or fan (in summer months). The only thing we love about this tent is the door/mositque net to be able to look out or let air through during summer time.Have gone to add photos, however won't allow me to upload.

This hub tent was an excellent investment. First time of use, it went thought 30ml of rain the first night. Was virtually totally dry inside. Only bit of water inside was where a bag was touching a wall. No big issue. Nothing a teatowel didn't fix. Was super easy to set up, and stood strong through wind and rain. Attached easy to an oztrail gazebo. Utterly amazed at such a great tent was so cheap. There is plenty of room for a queen sized bed with bags either side, & plenty of room to walk around.

Bought this as a combo deal recently for a week end away, it is pretty good, the hub itself is good quality, well made etc...the only issue I have is it does not have a fly for it. It really is a problem with the morning dew and rain, which we did encounter.(Threw a tarp over it and solved that problem, but really it should come with a fly/every tent should!) I also found that personally it was not quite big enough if you are using a queen size blow up bed,(like most of us do). The bed touched the walls no matter which way you faced the bed, there was no avoiding this unless you put the bed in front of the doorway more, but then this gave you no place to enter the tent. if you have a single or even possibly a double bed, then this would not be a problem. It was quick to erect and take down, pretty easy on that score. It attached to the gazebo really well and liked how that all worked, we put up one solid wall and that gave us a good area to cook in and sit in with some privacy. Will add another solid wall to make it more protected from the weather. Over all, not too bad, would I use it for a longer stay, say like a 7-10 day camp, probably not. But a quick week end away...yes. Final thought though, the idea of the hub was pretty exciting, however, never really gave it much thought as to the fact that it is not a TENT at the end of the day and YOU can only use it with the gazebo, so if you stay at a location which is know for bad weather (particularly windy/rain) then I would not use this set up at all. We camp regularly on Fraser island, and the weather there can be extremely great or it can be so windy on some days. Can honestly say we would never use this set up at Fraser, but was perfect for our week end away bush camping in Gordon country last weekend. Cheers!

Pretty good value for money. The size is good & relatively easy to erect. Works great in fine weather. I did spray with a weather sealer on the main tent before use to provide a bit more rain protection. We did get rain & the main tent stayed dry enough but found that even with only a few mm of rain, the floor did not keep the water out from the ground. Luckily, we had a swag in there & not a mattress directly on the floor.
We bought this addition for a wet and squally night for a kitchen addition. It is perfect for the wet and as you have the option of just closing the flyscreen it will be amazing for summer. Great for a quick pop up extra bedroom. Plenty of room for double bed with bags and walk area. It’s super compact when packed up, light weight and so quick to erect. Great attachments with Velcro on gazebo legs and clips to hold it to the top frame of the gazebo so no water leaks in. The gazebo must be at the second height (out of three) to line up with the tent. You could have the gazebo at the highest height as the top clips are adjustable, but it just means there is a gap at the top for weather to enter. We love that it gives us privacy from camping neighbors and we gain extra ... MoreWe bought this addition for a wet and squally night for a kitchen addition. The windows allow for ventilation but the only problem is they open and close from the outside. So if you are using it as a bedroom and it starts raining you would have to get out to go and close them. Other than that it’s perfect and looks so neat.
I saw one of these in use a few months ago, and instantly fell in love with the simplistic yet extremely practical design, so much so, that our 10 man and 3 man tents are now up for grabs to any family member who wants them!We recently took our Wanderer gazebo and two pods on a camping trip to Paluma Dam (North of Townsville), and being nested in the rain forest as you can imagine it was rather damp and with continual scuds of rain and periods of high winds experienced overnight. The wife and I easily managed to set up the campsite well under 25 minutes, while the kids went exploring the waterfront. The order of assembly was our large 6x4m ground sheet, gazebo, 2 pods opposite each other, queen eurobed, 3x single airbeds and camp table. The wife and I easily managed to set up the campsite well under 25 minutes, while the kids went exploring the waterfront. The order of assembly was our large 6x4m ground sheet, gazebo, 2 pods opposite each other, queen eurobed, 3x single airbeds and camp table. This was our first ever setup of the pods, as they still had the cardboard inside the bag! Anyway, despite the rainfall and wind (i put one of our gazebo sidewall's up on the wind side to combat the horizontal rain) we didn't get any water inside the pods. During the night the outside temps were hovering around 15-18 degrees, yet we were still very comfortable with the windows closed. Unlike our previous tent camping, there didn't seem to be any internal condensation in the morning which was a bonus. The very large door makes it very easy to setup your sleeping zone with no ducking or tripping at the entrance. We had the main door open, but mesh closed to keep out the insects which seemed to work perfectly.Pro's:* 6 man size, yet packs down to a sleeping bag sized roll.* Quick setup and packup, 3 poles a few velcro straps and quick release buckles.* Rain resistant, kept us all dry and comfortable.* Large door and two windows, which seemed to be at head location on a queen bed.* Very large interior. We had our Queen EuroBed inside, with approx 600mm on each side* Integrated guttering!! Make sure you pay attention to the top rail buckles. Fold the excess material under the gazebo whilst buckling up, it works very well!* Very fine mesh, have no doubt it will keep sandflies/midgy's out. Yet to test on the beach.Cons:* Quite costly for the convenience, unless on sale.* No pockets inside to store phones/torches etc.* Can be tricky to unzip the door from the mesh, especially if the door is open.
Easy setup. Very stable in wet weather, lip at the front opening meant no water got in at all. Standing room in the front section and larger than it seems inside. Full width front door meant it could be opened right up and used as a sheltered seating extension to the gazebo (unlike the other brand which only has a small sectioned door). We’ve used it as sleeping room for an over nighter and as a multi purpose gazebo room/storage for longer trips. Don’t know how we ever camped without it!
A low weight room at a very low cost. Poles are strong.Zipper might be the weak point.Attached to our awning, it stood up extremely well and without issue in very strong winds and rain.Waterproofing and seam sealing is not that good, but Selleys silicon spray rectified that for $20.A worthwhile addition to our hybrid caravan that provides additional shelter, storage/playroom and bug-free, outdoors dining.Recommended.
bought this about a month ago for a family beach holiday. Excellent! Was really really windy & it stayed put! Stayed dry too in the couple of showers we got overnight. Fits queen double height air bed & room to move around. Very easy to put up [first time out of the box was the day we arrived at campsite] & easy to put down too. Packed away well. Great!
Very roomy in relation to its pack down size, you can easily sleep 4 big people across if using it as a tent. More fiddly to put up than the gazebo itself, but no issue if you are staying a few days - not worth it for a quick overnighter or day trip. Well ventilated thanks to the main opening, but this comes at the expense of privacy. A gazebo wall on the opposite side helps over come the issue if camped with others. Sturdy and well built, handles wind no issues. Havent had it in the rain, but looks like it could scrape by. Having the gazebo as an awning attached makes getting in and out of the hub very convenient. Doubt this would be anyone's 'go to' option on every outing, but if you already own a gazebo its worth having in your kit.
