The Wanderer 4 person tent is well made and easy to put up, doable with 1 person but easier with 2 people. I only had 1 problem - the pegs supplied are undersized - being only 90mm long and about 5mm dia. Because of this the diagonally opposite peg lifted out of the ground when I bent the second strut into position. Luckily I had adequate pegs on hand that stayed in the ground. I am more than happy with the tent. If it's your first time with this tent it would be best erecting it in daylight - I ran into the dark and got the fly inside out first off, which is not the tent's fault.

This 3 season tent has been brilliant. We have used ours to death, camped in all seasons (all over WA) and will be replacing it with the same tent. Withstood 60kph winds and torrential rain with no trouble. Good water rating. Good floor plan. It has beat our black wolf turbo hands down. About 20mins to set up by myself. Nice and light, not like the canvas ones. Only thing I would change is the interior door direction (clearly the designer has never camped with kids) and the mesh annex door - the velcro on the fly catches sometimes on the D door. I recommend this to everyone. It came up among the top three for Choice reviews when I first purchased it half a dozen years ago. Looking forward to getting my next one.

Excellent Tent. We endured heavy rains, storms and winds whilst on NSW/QLD boarder. No leaks, kept us both dry the whole time and stood strong. Felt comfortable and safe during the wild storms. My daughter and I love our space so this tent was a great choice for it's size with lots of space with inside wall pockets to store sunnies, keys etc... it has hooks and loops on roof and around tent to hang lighting or just items and they hold well. It was great that we could have to 2 rooms which we could open up if we wanted to. Even better we could stand up right in this tent comfortably and walk in n out. The bedroom side ( taller end) could easily accommodate someone at 180cm standing. Really good when you get changed or just want to stand, stretch or looking for ... MoreExcellent Tent. Fantastic tent. Easy to setup and packdown, even no arguments when setting it up with another person. Surprisingly warm once all covers are on, even when it hits single digits outside. Has covered all bases, from secondary zips for mozzie nets and an internal zip to separate sections.
I survived Splendour in the Grass 2022 with this beauty and had only very minor issues. I was situated in the worst of the worst of the campsites. It was completely flooded around my tent. The only water that got in was around the seams where the tags for the pegs were sewn in because obviously this tent wasn’t built for flooding conditions but not much water came in at all. My stuff stayed pretty dry.
First camping trip in this tent and it rained the whole time, based on past experience with borrowed tents I was prepared for some leaks but was pleasantly surprised we stayed nice and dry inside and it stood up to some pretty severe wind too! Though we did have to go and buy some extra long/strong pegs to hold it down.It fit 3 adult women very comfortably and could have fitted another, but it was nice to have a bit of extra space for our bags and belongings.I was very happy with this tent! Good quality and easy to set up for a great price and so was my dog who might have to come on the next trip!
Had high hopes for this tent due to reviews. Unfortunately the fly seems a touch too small. We repositioned it 3 times but every time the front vestibule was bent out of shape from being pulled too tight around the pole. The whole front section material would be super tight in some places and loose and flappy in others. We had no rain but found the vestibule wet and dripping inside from frost on two mornings. I worry to think how this tent may hold up in rain.
Although often travelling solo, I like a big tent, so I can stand up and fit a decent air matress. Bought on the strenght of lots of good reviews, but solo traveller beware: it's really hard to put up by oneself. Getting it off the ground without a second person is always an effort. The front pole is extremely awkward to fit after tent is erect and impossible to keep in one piece if fitting through before getting the tent up. Also not enamoured with petrol colour, but that's more a matter of personal taste than practicability.Having said this, so far it has withstood wind and rain without fail.
My wife and I used this tent as a touring tent whilst travelling on Fraser Island. The tent itself performed very well but I would point out the following small drawbacks.1. the rear section is not large enough to accommodate king single stretchers, which meant the stretchers extended into the front section of the tent2. The poles are very heavy3. The elastic inside the poles is very loose and of low quality meaning they do not hold together well firmly. This is reasonably easily fixed, but should not be necessary.
Took this tent camping and survived a thunderstorm with wind gust og 80kph, a stone throw away from the beach. Tent held well, no leaks during the whole 2 days of rain. My only issue were the fly windows are bor velcroed on the bottom end and may slightly flap in the wind, the side door is only mad of mesh while the rest are two layered which is a peculiar design choice.
