*****DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT***** If I could give 0 stars I would.I have bought this same branded product previously and whilst it appears pretty flimsy - once assembled it has been fit for purpose. However this second lot of the same product has been nothing but a problem since it arrived. The instruction sheet is not required if you have common sense, however you DO require details re: which way is up for certain pieces if you have never assembled this product before, WHICH IS NOT PROVIDED. Additionally the instructions give no indication that THE ONLY way this product can be successfully erected is by using a timber block and a hammer. I assembled the first lot of this product single handedly. We were not impressed at all and would not recommend purchase of this product.NB: the first lot of this product was purchased in June 2021 and it is STILL emitting an incredibly strong chemical odour - not sure if it emanates from the powder coated finish or the glue used in the MDF board used for the shelves. In any case it is offensive and is still present 6 months after assembly.

The quality of the silver shelving is very flimsy & not super stable. I have previously purchased the black shelving unit from the same supplier and it is much better quality and almost the same price. I would recommend not purchasing this item, but purchasing the black version. The wind could tip over this shelving unit & the shelves are easily popped out. Would prefer it to hold its shape more.

These racks were over priced and the poor instructions where the top part of the rack is to be fitted was not made clear after repeated attempts to get some help from someone. I will not recommend these racks or the company to any one. I was able to purchase better value racks from Aldi with better instructions for $40.00 each after paying $107 each for the Giantz. I had to purchase additional bolts to make these racks operational so my recommendation is very poor don't purchase wait until Aldi have their racks out again. poor show no more purchasing for me. The instructions for assembling these shelves are substandard & the diagrams are so small as to be indecipherable. The main problem is how to connect the upright supports to build the top level above the base shelves. Other similar shelves have a bracket which connects the 2, this one doesn't and there doesn't seem a way to make the join solid. Am left with 4 small shelves instead of 2 large ones. Not what I wanted & very frustrating. No company details to contact and get advice from. wast of money.
Not as strong and sturdy as I thought, although I suppose it does the trick, though you wouldn’t want to put anything too heavy on. Also thought that the wooden-look pieces that sit on top of the shelves were both thicker and more of an actual would look where I was in person. It just looks like cheap MDF board, because it is. In any case, not too bad deal for what it was - you get what you pay, for I suppose. The only other issue was that there were a number of metal pieces that were bent out of shape on arrival, thus trying to put them back in shape has been a bit of a headache.Overall, we just use it for what it is knowing the downfalls, then not a bad shelf to be able to place bits and bobs containers within.
The first thing you'll notice is that the instructions are very bare bones. For anyone thinking about getting this, here are a few tips: 1. The horizontal beams need to be rotated with the groove facing outwards (the ridge should be sticking out facing inwards) and along the top of the beam. 2. To join the upright beams at the middle of the shelving, use one hole each when inserting the horizontal beams. Don't try to attach the horizontal beams to one of the upright beams first and join everything together afterwards, because the upright beams need to sit end-to-end and there won't be enough space. 3. If you're having trouble getting the joins to mate, you can use a hammer to gently tap on top of the horizontal beam ridge. You'll need to make sure that the studs are ... MoreThe first thing you'll notice is that the instructions are very bare bones. For anyone thinking about getting this, here are a few tips: 1. If you're having trouble getting the joins to mate, you can use a hammer to gently tap on top of the horizontal beam ridge. You'll need to make sure that the studs are aligned with the join grooves first, so you might need to squeeze the whole frame slightly to get them to line up (it can be helpful if you have two people!). Don't compensate by hammering extra hard if you might damage the power coating or start bending things. 4. If the punch holes to insert the middle supporting braces are not fully punched, use the prongs on the back of a hammer and gently tap. You only need a small gap to be able to insert the tab. I am only using this for light storage and would not recommend testing the weighted rating of 150kg. One of the join studs broke off during assembly and there were some clear manufacturing defects on my unit such as unpunched holes.
This turned out to be very flimsy. Terrible construction instructions, very thin and week vertical struts. Very frustrating to assemble. One of the bracings was missing the lug to intergrate to the vertical strut. The construction design with one vertical strut standing on the other is terrible, week and prone to misalignment.I would advise to avoid this product, and by extension, this brand.I had assumed buying through Myers was an indication of trust in the quality of the product. Unfortunately it was not.
This shelf unit works like many others. The shelf base has buttons which slot into a keyhole in the uprights. It's a pretty good system. The unit falls down in being made from thin steel, it's definitely light duty only. Don't put anything heavy in, and I would't put in anything you have to access a lot. The biggest flaw is that the uprights are each in two pieces, and one of the shelf base sections is used to hold the two halves together. This is different to other versions I have where a separate pin holds each upright together. So the upper half of the unit relies on the middle shelf not moving not to collapse. That's an awkward sentence and it's an awkward system. Other than that it's fine. Everything fits together, everything was included, and I knew what I was ... MoreThis shelf unit works like many others. The shelf base has buttons which slot into a keyhole in the uprights. The product [storage shelves] is functional but very, very light weight in design. The connection method ['bolt less' design] is innovative, but not well designed! The frame is painted, but chips easily, looks smart but easily marked! As stated, the shelves go together without the need for screws and bolts, but 'pop' apart readily and should definitely be put together with 2 people not the one person. The shelve panels are thin 'MDF' [around 5mm]. I lack confidence that they will support anything over a few kilograms, without bowing. The 'detailed' instructions are not detailed at all, with there being very small diagrams of the modules but no parts details or wording to speak of! [Very poor Instructions]! You get what you pay for I guess! Definitely not a 'Warehouse ... MoreThe product [storage shelves] is functional but very, very light weight in design. I said 'yes' for recommendation, but it is a qualified 'yes' if you understand the limitations! I said 'Yes' for Value, if you understand and accept that this a is a very light weight product! The paint chipping very easily says the product could have been painted/powder coated' etc to a higher standard!
Very difficult to assemble. It isn't complex but element that should slide together cleanly don't - a rubber mallet was required to force it. From now on I will purchase solutions based on a nuts-and- bolts assembly rather than a snap-together method. Very disappointed as a quality product should be do-able for this price.
