A great lubricant that has a long and trusted history to work well for a multitude of jobs around the home and workplace and for many areas its described for on the can. High quality in a high can, recently purchased from Supercheap on special at 2 for $20. Now that's a bargain and that's the type of deal I like. Its great to loosen those loose nuts and bolts and squeaks that appear from time to time. Being able to rely on WD-40 to be able to lubricate those difficult hard to reach areas of parts that need some lubricating is made much easier with the long thin nozzle that is provided. WD-40 doesn't need a review. It's reputation out there for lubricant for most mechanical goods and cleaning/protection for 100's applications. The only review I could do is SCA did again, with special price never seen before. Thank you

Spray this stuff on a squeaky door hinge, a bicycle chain, a drawer roller or a chair and within a few weeks it will need lubricating again. Why? Because WD40 is NOT a lubricant: It's a solvent! The very light oil residue it leaves behind helps to keep the squeak away for long enough that you think the problem is fixed, but soon there's nothing left. I've tested WD40 as a penetrating oil and, aside from working on the surface rust, it makes no difference. And the classic WD40 smell makes the room stink for hours after using it indoors, so it's not suitable for household use. A useful item to have in the workshop and there are other brands rather similar. All seem to be grossly overpriced in Australia, so I took the opportunity of buying two which at so called "reduction" in price were still expensive by world standards as in fact I fin d most things in SuperCheap where unfortunately prices do not often live up to the name
We originally bought this to fix our noisy metal gate. It worked a treat. One simple application of the product and the sound is completely gone and the gate glides open and shut with so much ease. No need to rub it in or anything, we just sprayed and that was it! Also helps with the doors and windows inside the house, just make sure you have well ventilation in the area as the smell can be a little overwhelming but it dissipates rather quickly.
Works extremely well, have tried other similar products, however don't give you the same results as quick. Great Product
it was good to see this special 2 for 1 large cans come up again at SCA. As we use a few cans a year on our farm machinery cost can be quite high. Would like to see this special happen at least two or three times a year to give customers like myself more chances to stock up on this great product. Thanks SCA for providing this special as a lot of competitors don't.
I use WD-40 on lots of stuff around the house. I even use it to bring lustre back to old plastic, like N64 and original Xbox consoles. When a little dribble from the red extension nozzle is all you need, WD-40 goes a long way. I wont have to buy any for quite awhile.
