Bought four of these for a QNAP TVS-871 NAS.

I have four of these (6 TB drives) in my QNAP NAS running in RAID 6. That gives me just over 10 TB of of space. I'm going to buy four more over time and add them to my NAS bringing it up to 48 TB. If you're building a NAS I would recommend these over the lesser 64mb cache versions. I store all my family pictures and videos on my NAS along with my video collection so the extra $50/drive is worth the piece of mind. Oh and RAID is NOT backup. I still take a full backup of my NAS to an external drive every 3 months.
