Best Feature(s):plug and playValue For Money:99$ you decideProduct Quality:GoodFast delivery within 2-3 days. Tested for about 3 weeks. Camera quality is sharp, mic is good. Auto focus could take awhile like 10s.Got the white version, does come with tripod mount but does NOT include tripod.Seller chips in his own usb C to A adapter. I got the AWEI one which is rated for USB 3.0. (Minimum required for 1080@60fps) Do note that the direction of usb C plug into the adapter matters if you can receive 1080p at 60fps.Camera is plug and play but default is set to 1080p 30fps, so you need to install software from logitech to adjust this.

I bought this for about $170 on Amazon a few years back thinking it was a good camera. After trying other cameras, including the 720p on my Macbook air, I realized this thing is horrid. It's always grainy no matter what the lighting; and believe me we have tried everything, including a really bright light. Other cameras including cheaper ones don't do that. The software is buggy, intrusive, constantly has to update. This is my last Logitech product. I feel ripped off. Too many Logi products have thoughtless, unintuitive and poor design now.

I wish I would have known that this requires the LogiCapture to make the camera work in VERTICAL MODE. You cannot use the vertical mode on a laptop outside Logitech's proprietary software. I wanted to use this camera with another app that allows for teleprompter scrolling for my videos and NOPE. This is the first time with all the Logitech cameras I have that I have run into this issue. Horizontal, you are golden to record in any other app without the LogiCapture open. Logitech - you need to allow for teleprompter or other apps to serve as a teleprompter in VERTICAL. Very annoying and makes this useless for what I wanted to record for IG and FB, so back to my iPhone. If you are using this just for Zoom or other conferencing needs, the camera is sharp and works well ... MoreI wish I would have known that this requires the LogiCapture to make the camera work in VERTICAL MODE. One of the key features advertised for this camera is auto-framing. The ability to zoom and pan to follow you. This feature works great on Windows 10 and macOS 11 using the "Logitech Capture" software. But Logitech Capture is now considered "retired", and Logitech says to use "G Hub" for Windows 11 and macOS 12 and macOS 13. Only G Hub doesn't support auto-framing.Logitech Capture *runs* on Windows 11, but it is buggy, auto-framing only works sometimes, the app crashes randomly. It doesn't run at all on an Apple Silicon computer in macOS 13. (Crashes before even showing a window.)
doesn't handle light all that great.. needs quite low light actually to produce great picture... picture is good at besti could go on and on about how i spent a lot of money to try to connect this camera to my computer, but i'll keep it short. Logitech made a specific design decision with this camera: to have a SHORT cord, and no option to extend it. I have spent big money on the most specialized industry extension cables for USB-C and I learned yesterday from an industry insider that Logitech actually intentionally crippled extendability in their USB-C connection.forced obsolescence is a disgrace to your name Logitech and an insult to the people who paid hard earned money for a StreamCam.I have been a logitech user for YEARS, but it's down to a Blue microphone ... Moredoesn't handle light all that great.. needs quite low light actually to produce great picture... picture is good at besti could go on and on about how i spent a lot of money to try to connect this camera to my computer, but i'll keep it short. Small and very affordable, but large on features, the Logitech C920s Pro HD Webcam comes with advance capture software and allows the user to create and share video content easily. It offers full professional HD 1080p video calling and recording that delivers detailed, crisp and clear images in intense colors. This is possible through the software and the HD autofocus and light correction which adjust to the lighting conditions of the room where the video content is being created. Stereo audio is made possible with the use of the dual mics placed on either side of the glass lens. The 78degree field of view allows for two people to participate in the video, and the dual mics capture the natural sound of their voices. The software installed very easily, and the webcam is designed to either mount on the computer monitor or a table top tripod. Either way, with the use of the privacy shutter and the autofocus and light correction features, the user is in full control of the videos professional appearance. Use this webcam to Skype, hold on line meetings and conferences, stream video or give tutorials and presentations all in an easy and professional way. This is a highquality webcam that is easy to install, easy to use and delivers a full professional HD 1080p experience. It weighs .49 of a pounds and is 7.52 inches H x 8.94 inches W x 2.83 inches D. With a two 2 year limited warranty, a 2.0 USB connection, digital zoom of 4 x, image resolution of up to 1920 x 1080, 15 MP and 30 fps, the webcam is compatible with Windows, Windows 7, 8 and 10 and is an excellent buy.
I got this as a gift, which is great because I'd be returning it otherwise. Problem 1: it's USB-C and does not come with an adapter. I built my computer last year, and I don't have a USB-C plug, so I'm unsure how that choice was made. Problem 2: It records in 4:3 with no logical reason and resolution is not an option in GHub, which is the only software recommended with this cam. Problem 3: It's fairly low quality image, I do not support this for streaming at all, especially given its poor software support. It probably works for Zoom, but I'm definitely never replacing my C920 with this. Stressful and unsatisfactory to use.
Quality of video isn't anything special, surely better than a built in webcam, but stil. The mic is nice, still sounds like you're talking in an empty can. I use this on a mac and there's no support for the microphone enhancing technology (I think it's called blue something) in the G hub for mac which could make a big difference. The product quality is good, but the usb cable is bad where it attaches to the camera. small movements (Which I normally do with my screen as it sets on an ergonomic arm) caused the rubber to pop a bit out of the camera body, so the cables inside are exposed now. I honestly would look for a different product for this price. All my gear I use is logitech, and this has been a common trend I see, to deliver non complete products. I honestly would look for a different product for this price. All my gear I use is logitech, and this has been a common trend I see, to deliver non complete products. Their software is especially glitchy, complicated and feature lacking once you start using them you'll know. About that, the stream cam has like 3 apps that support it, so you never know which is better as they don't exactly share the same features.
LogiCapture software is required to get most features of this camera to work, but LogiCapture is NOT compatible with M1 chip Macs.Instead you must use LogiTune, which is less feature rich, meaning you won't get face tracking, and overall some key advertised features are disabled.Autofocus works on human faces reasonably well, but if you wish to use it as a WebCam to film non-humans subjects, like recording a painting tutorial, it will not autofocus - the only solution is the use LogiTune to switch off autofocus and manually focus using LogiTune, which is extremely fiddly.Logitech customer support were wholly unhelpful at resolving any problems. Figuring out problems will require going to third party forums and trial and error by the customer. The one positive thing is that once manually adjusted with LogiTune, colour rendering was much more accurate compared to other webcams I have used. Since I am primarily using this camera to record painting, and colour rendition is important, I have ultimately decided to keep it despite the other issues.
Dear SirsThank you for your reply.I have already contacted the support team. They could not solve the problem. They have sent me a replacement StreamCam, which has Exactly the same problem communicating with Asmedia chips. After that they simply ignore all my messages. So now you see, I have tried not only every USB3 chipset Asmedia has produced till the moment, but also tried two units of your StreamCam from completely different batches. For your information I have been ordering every Asmedia chipset based IO board from Amazon, by the list from Asmedia website. My Asus workstation motherboard is also equipped with the oldest USB 3 chip. The latest chip I have in the system now is ASM3242 USB3.2 20Gbit 2x2 PCIe3 x4 with aux power connector.
