The product works very well - the last plates lasted me over 10 years of pretty harsh treatment. Only issue is you need to know the RIGHT SIZE. My Weber BBQ has Q200 on the label so that is the plate size i ordered - but it turns out my BBQ is actually a Weber Family Q - which requires larger plates. So now i will have an interesting discussion with the supplier if i can exchange them? (with me covering the freight)

Best thing since sliced bread!

Best thing since sliced bread! I have a very old Q200 with the 1 piece grill and a breakfast plate that sits on top. I purchased a half plate a year ago incorrectly thinking it also had a half grill in the box and realised my bbq didn't have supports for half plates. Thanks to Weber store forum I was informed of the grill pack that comes with supports and purchased immediately. The new Enamelled grills are far superior to my old cast iron one and I reckon my Q200 will now last me another 13 years!

Great design, good product

Great product and well designed with the two piece format for ease of deep cleaning in a sink. Normal cleaning I use a stiff sisal brush of natural fibers to avoid scratching porcelain enamel. Once grates are 350°F I brush with the sisal brush dampened and it steam cleans.

New Griddle plates

After 12 years it was time to upgrade my griddle on the Q200 and this new version is superb plus it also comes with the clips to allow this to fit the older version which I have as jt now comes in 2 parts. BBQ is good as new and well worth paying the extra for the original Weber version which is now ceramic coated. Fantastic.

New Plates = new BBQ

I was looking for a new BBQ after 15 years with my weber Q 200. Loved it but the grill was falling apart. After much research I realised I could give it a good clean and pick up ne plates. So glad I did as it is like new and the new surface is terrific. Love that the plates can go in dishwasher

Replacement items

Love both my "Q" grills!!We travel by motorhome and use the "Baby Q" all the time. At home, I have the Q 1200.We have had both for years.The Q 1200 has been almost completely rebuilt with new grates, burner bar and ignitor.Weber is easy to work with for replacement items and they ship quickly.Thanks Weber!

This is grate! (pun intended)

Went back and forth about buying a new grill or refurbishing my existing. This and a new burner completely renewed my Q series grill. Fit perfectly. The design is a little different...the original was one solid grate. I wasn’t sure how I felt about that initially, but so far, it works well, and is easier to handle if I want to wash in the sink and/or clean out the grill. Another quality Weber product!

Tip top service and product

The product and speed with which is was delivered exceeded all expectations. The cleaning of this grill is so much easier and safer than the previous version, with the grill splitting in two you can simply lift one side out to clean. I would recommend shopping online with Weber if you live in a remote location.

Weber® Porcelain-Enamelled Cast Iron Cooking Grates For Q 200/2000 Series

I have an eleven year old Weber Q200 that is used almost every week in the year. The original grate was showing its age and needed to be replaced. the single grate no longer seems to be available, but the new two part one is great. Unlike the original, it fits in the sink for cleaning. I think it is well worth paying the extra for the enamelled Weber grates.
