My wife bought me this as I really wanted more space than my Baby Q. After opening it up and assembling, I noticed that there was no thermometer. Why Weber would not include a thermometer on all models is beyond belief!! It needs preheating before starting so how do you know how hot it is?? The joke was that there is a sticker warning of the maximum temperature that should not be exceeded. How does Weber suppose I know what the temperature is?? Why not make this ‘upgrade’ clear on the website!! I now have to repack it and try and swap it. Weber - you need to get real and spend the extra $10 on all models and make this a standard feature. Why cut corners to cut down on a few $$. Your brand quality and reliability has just been lowered in my opinion.

My Weber Q2000 LPG is the perfect size for my needs. This bbq is really easy to set up & is a breeze to use. I can use it just for myself & it also was fantastic for a recent family get-together. We've cooked various cuts of meat, kebabs & veggies - all to perfection! My Weber is easy to clean, with it's removable grill racks. The removable drip tray that slides into place under the bbq is a great inclusion. I love this product & would highly recommend it to any prospective purchaser!

Hi, we purchased our second Weber Q today, our first purchase having been over 10 years ago. Having been so happy with the product over so many years with no problems, we did not even look at specifications. Got the product home and have now used, a few really disappointing things, there is no built in temperature guage on our new one as there was with our first, as a hooded bbq this is an essential, also the hood is not as deep as our original bbq so we cannot roast our standard cuts of meat as we did in our last. I would have though that over 10 years there would have been enhancements to the product, not a decrease in features.

I know this has a lot of 5 star reviews. It does it's job, but setting it up , it's not a $600 BBQ and that's just the honest truth. Throw the ( plastic "premium") stand in and you're paying near on $850 plus you're going to need the hot plate if you want to cook breakfast. There's $900 and I can tell you, you can get some great BBQs for close to a grand. No thermometer, plastic parts, thin steel. There's just not an expensive item here unless you smack the webberQ badge on the front.Why did I buy it? I wanted something to double up for the van and the house, but if you are looking at either just a house or just a van barby you're wasting your money here. Great value for simply one of the best ignite and cook BBQ's around. Seeing this on sale (not during Black Friday sales) was simply awesome!I've had my previous one for 5 years, and it's still going strong. I just wanted to grab a secondary one for when my current one dies (if it ever does)..
This is the first Weber purchase for the family and it absolutely delivers! The grill plates are so different to a conventional BBQ on the market because they dont rust and are easy to clean. And the ergonomics of the bbq not only look good, but also help with the even cooking. No significant hot/cold spots on the bbq. Perfect size. I just wish the thermometer came standard with these bbqs. I got caught out with the awesome price and failed to see the lack of it till way after purchase. Nonetheless, am hapy to be a part of the Weber family, and will likely stay with them for life unless a competitor can offer the same quality at a lower price.
This was the perfect BBQ to finish off my renovation of our outdoor room. Its easily portable, looks great, and it cooks our food quickly and evenly. The grill plates are easy to clean, and the burners are set high above the base allowing easy access to clean the inside bottom of the BBQ. I wouldve preferred if it came with a hot plate and a grill plate instead of 2 grill plate halves, as we then needed to spend an extra $70 to buy a hot plate for eggs, onions etc. But overall, its a great BBQ at a good price.
We have only used our new BBQ once but it performed as well as our old family size Weber. It has all the same quality and features except the inbuilt thermostat to use for roasting. However the roasting instructions Weber put out for this BBQ recommend an alternate roasting method. Yet to put it to the test!
A fantastic BBQ. The right size for our needs whilst at home and for travelling with. It’s a great size to cook a roast with and still the right size to travel with, without taking up the whole boot. Cooks awesome Tomahawk Steaks, perfection succulent roasts, moist chicken and juicy veggies, especially sweet corn on the cob! I can’t fault this Webber BBQ. It i# perfect!!
What a great product from webberSo glad that i purchased the webber q i was undecided at the time but i am so glad that i decided to buy i do not use my old 4 burner at all now i only use my webberIt is very easy to set up out of the box and use cooks food perfectly even for someone like me who burns waterI would recommend buying the stand as that will be my next purchase and a hot plate for those of us who like bacon and eggs on the barby
