Creating a Weetabix with a chocolate flavour was an absolutely genius idea as far as my household are concerned. Both of my sons will happily tuck into 2 biscuits with milk in the mornings. It is filling so I know that they go to school with full bellies and are ready for learning. In winter they love to have warm milk with the weetabix so that it is extra comforting. If my children are feeling under the weather and don’t have much appetite, I find that they will usually agree to eat some weetabix and I can rest assured that they are fuelling their bodies to get well again.

Chocolate cereal

Now, this product was good at the time as I saw a deal with two weetabix boxes, and I thought at the time, I will try these as the weetabix cereals are usually quite pricey and for a deal, I thought one cannot go wrong with this deal at the time. Also, I haven't tried this particularly product as yet, but the weetabix ranges are usually very tasty and I have no doubt that this product will be the same too, & I would probable get the product in future, as weetabix is usually very good.Lastly I thank Asda for their timely service to me, when I came to collect my order from the store, this gesture is truly appreciated.

LESS CHOCOLATE FLAVOUR THAN BEFORE!

NOOOOOOOO!!! This cereal used to be fantastic! However, unfortunately there is now less chocolate flavour than there was before. It's still nice but not as good as it used to be. What a shame

My kids love these

We usually have porridge or shredded wheat or some other low sugar breakfast but in the holidays/ Birthdays my kids have these for a treat. They love them. They taste great and at 18% sugar they’re not as sugary as the frosted cereals which can be closer to 30% sugar! I’m sure they only used to be 15% when they first came out though!! I hope they don’t add any more sugar to please those used to a high sugar breakfast. X

Review of Weetabix 24pk With Chocolate

Have just tried Weetabix with Chocolate and am a convert. Always thought ordinary Weetabix was a bit dull but the chocolate nibs make all the diference.

My daughter normally has the mini ones but when they were out of stock for a delivery I got these instead. She said they were not nice and wont eat them. Today I tried them as I had run out of my plain ones and I can totally understand why she wont eat them. They are truly disgusting. They have a very artificially sweet taste. I checked the packet to see if they had aspartame in but they dont so it must just be the sugar. But they really are horrible and I have put them in the bin.

where are the chocolate chips?

I found less than 5 chocolate chips per biscuit, which would be fine if their size was as advertised but they’re quite literally 1mm in size, you can’t even taste them, It also has a horrible bitter after taste thanks to the dark chocolate and unsweetened coco powder, something I wish was mentioned somewhere other than in the ingredients.
